Gary M. really outdid himself on selecting the route. What others would drive via highway, turned into a gorgeous cruise on the back-roads of Oregon. Hardly any traffic to speak of, perfect visibility, clear skies, sunshine highlighting the countryside....well, you had to be there. These photos may give you only a very MILD idea of what a day it was. I started a new forum on another site, its for meets/drives/shows/drag+autoracing for all Z's to post and welcome to any ideas in those areas. You will have to sign in(screename) to post but I am trying to get all the s30-z33 owners I can in the area to sign in so we can keep in touch on doing meets/anything in our area together or doing drives to meets in the bay area together easier. On November 4th, ZONC wil be having a run through some of the old towns that sprang up during the gold rush days. Some of the buildings are still in use today. The run will be leaving Placerville at 10:30 with planned stops at El Dorado, Sutter Creek and the Historical part of Jackson, all of which are on Highway 49. An interesting note, one town the run will pass through will be Nashville, CA. The Starting point will be Mels Diner parking area and if you choose to arrive early you have the choice of Carrows, Buttercup Pantry and Mels for breakfast, all of which are across the street from each other and then tour old town Placerville until it's time to start. Saturday October 28th and Sunday October 29th, the Tucson Z Club will be joining in on the 29th annual CHVA car show and auto Swap meet at Pima College.
