Hello everyone. It's my first time starting a thread. My name is Eiji, I'm a member of Nothern VA Z club. My buddy and I are planning on a little Datsun cruise trip to Shenandoah on 9/2 (sat) the labor day weekend. We will probablly meet in Centerville/Manassas/Gainsville in the mid morning, then head out to Shenandoah valley. We may go to one of the Shennandoa Park's free parking lot (Panorama?) and eat dogs/burgers, there, do a little car show (just looking at cars), cruise around on Skyline Drive, and stop at gift shop(s) to buy apple butter and/or other VA local gift stuff on the way back. Any interests? Please let your other Northen VA/Southern MD Datsun f…

We call this "Z's at the Lake". The SFZCC will be having a BYO Item BBQ on August 12th. Where: Sheridan Street and A1A. Its the West Lake Park. When you pull into the parking lot, you will see 2 paviolions. We have reserved the "Cove" pavilion which is on a huge lake with a small sandy beach; no swimming though. You have to pay to park at a parking meter in the parking lot, but its cheap (coins). Directions: Take 95 to Sheridan Street and head East until you come to A1A. Once you come to A1A turn North (left) onto A1A. Then make your next FIRST left into the small parking lot. Time: TBD; the park is open from 8:00am to 7:30pm. If you would like to go sw…

Pictures from the 8-9-06 Beaches Cruise In at Portland International Raceway. This is the view from the concession stand / snack-bar area. The Cruise-In intends to raise $130,000 in funds this year alone for underpriviledged children in the Vancouver / Portland area. Beaches is a restaurant located on the bank of the Columbia river which used to hold a Cruise-In on Wednesdays (all pre 73 cars) and Thursdays (Vettes, Vipers and other High-End Exotics). As the years went by it grew bigger and bigger. When it got too big for their parking lot, they moved it to Pearson Air Field (just east of Fort Vancouver). Then it got too big for that area, they moved it to PIR whe…

Might this be the year we finally see a group of us getting together? Wednesday Afternoons 4pm to dark + at Portland International Raceway. Sponsored by Beaches restaurant in Vancouver, over 700 vehicles of all makes / years as long as it's a classic or "cool" (they define it...). $5.00 at the gate and the proceeds go to underpriviledged children in the area. We recently had 4 Z's and 2 Roadster's attend. We're hoping for more. Enrique Scanlon
