Hey folks... These cracks weren't there when I bought the car ((I'm pretty sure I'd remember seeing them if they were). Anyways, they're there now. Whats my best option for getting these fixed? Thanks

I have a 1978 280Z all stock the oil pressure gauge has suddenly stopped working, that or i simply have no oil pressure. I do know that there was an oil leak around the sending unit, someone decided to screw the sending unit still wired up further towards the block and now it reads nothing. Is it as simple as unscrewing the sending unit away from the block and it will start reading the pressure again, or am i gonna be getting a hold of that person to buy me a new unit?

Hey there guys, I have a 72 Datsun 240Z with a E31 head on N42 block. I'm running Weber 40 DCOE triple side drafts power with a Crane cam 92 ignition. My motor bogs and stalls when I accelerate around the 3 - 4 k rpm range. I would punch the gas again and the engine would sound like its going to die. It was running fine a months ago before i install my air horns. It's also takes more attempt to get the car to start after sitting for more than 3 hrs. Could it be because my air horns are too long? 60MM for the total length of air horn. Or could it be an ignition issue? I'm still learning about my car as i spend time with it. Please, any input will be great!

Any leads on either part would be appreciated. I need a complete driver side window regulator and the driver side lower door hinge. Also, does anyone have a good source for a replacement fuel tank? Thanks.

I filled up with gasoline, drove about 2/10 of a mile home and parked in the garage. I almost immediately noticed gas dripping, and placed a small pot under the drip. The drip appeared to be coming from the small rubber hose that extends from the top of tank to ??? (perhaps the evaporative vent). The braided hose above the rubber hose was dry. Whatever was leaking dripped perhaps a pint, then quit, and nothing since. It looks to me as if there is no way to get to these hoses without dropping the tank. Any advice would be most welcome, as I suppose it's possible. I don't even have a problem. But something was clearly leaking, though I don't know why it would have stopped.…

My 71 Z is coming along but I need the plastic hooks that you hang the (non-retracable in 71) seat belts on when not in use. Anybody have any? Or any suggestions on where (or how) I can get them? Thanks in advance.

Hello all This past tuesday I turned the Z on and drove to work per usual. For some reason something just didn't sound right, there was something coming from the top end that just wasn't there before. I figured today I'd pull the valve cover and take a peek under there and see if there was anything wrong. Long and behold the number 9 valve rocker arm spring was half off (Pic included). I took it off, inspected it thoroughly and reinstalled it back to its normal and functional position. So two questions, one, how common is it for these to fall off. Its not like I was racing the motor (I rarely ever rev over 5k and floor it occassionally)? Should I be worried about this, i…

&% 280z the P.O. dropped the tank about 4 years ago and coated it . I have now flushed the tank out with gas until no bits of rust . I blew air through the pick up and filled it back up. Runs great for about 5-10 mins until the pick up screen gets clogged again. From the pictures I have seen the pick up sits in a tin can and I cannot clean out the can without taking the tank off and turning it upside down . So is there any way of screwing on a nipple to the drain bolt hole and using it as the pick up and blocking off the pick up ? Would this work ?

Well, after getting several other electrical gremlins worked out, its back to the brakes. The pedal feels wooden at times, with no travel, and other times, feels a bit more like it should. I have a 70 240, so i'm aware that the original master cylinder was a different one than all the rest. But it looks to have been replaced. What could I do, without just playing the shotgun parts approach, to find out which master cylinder i have, as well as which booster is on there? Any measurements that can be taken, or other parts i can reference from? I'm going from one end to the other on the brakes (just like the rest of the car. Hope to have it a long time, so the more i can r…
