Hi Guys, I'm looking at buying a set of triple Dellortos from E-bay, as per description below. The seller rebuilds each set and airflow match's them. I need to decide on venturi size set up to request and size of jets/needles to be fitted. I hope to have these carbs fitted to a mild L28. Can anybody give me some approxiamtes to work with? If you have such a set up in your car please advise what you have used? thanks Sulio

I replaced the square tops on my 73 with the round tops off of my 72. Car runs when I shoot starting fluid into the carbs for 2 or 3 seconds then dies. The float bowls had fuel in them but I drained and recleaned. Still have same problem. I used a timing light to make sure spark was good and I'm on the money. Set the floats. Could the fuel pump be "weak"? I have the carbs at 2 1/2 turns out on jets, 2 1/2 out on screws. New fuel lines and filter. I'm sure it's something simple but my brain is stumbling.

Has anyone installed a Holley Red Electric 12-801 on a carb'd Z? Did you leave the manual fuel pump in or did you take it out completely? Was there any fabrication to be done, or was it pretty simple? Thanks for any input.

I am in the process of putting 240 3-screw carbs on my 74 260. Put new gaskets in, made all adjustments, etc. Put the carbs on the car but I do not know where to attach the return springs. I have two springs that came with the carbs. They are about 8 7/8" long with about 2 1/8" of that being the spring. The rest is straight wire with a 1/4" hook on one end and 3/8" on the other. Please help ASAP. TY Larry

Ok i read alot of diff things on different sites, need some PRO advice/guidance. Bought the nice webber sync dial, not unisync. double check me here! remove all the connecting rods from throttle rod to carbs -back out the idle speed screw so that it just touches ( all six) -set idle speed screws at 1/2 turn past just touching -set fuel mixture screw at 1.5 turns out to start (saw something about a 3rd progression hole!!!!) -start engine and begin with each carb setting the mixture screw for best idle, meaning screw in until idle starts to drop then back out to best idle??? -then start adjusting each carb for flow(syncronizing ???) using the idle speed screw for each carb …

im thinking of purchasing a pair of rebello bored 50mm SU's, they used to pull 280 hp on a stroker engine, they are quiet a but cheaper then tripple webbers. since im not trying to get 280hp out of my L26, these lil pupies should do the trick with a ported head, mild cam and extractors. or should i spend the extra cash and go with the tripple webbers? keep in mind the webbers are almost 3 times as expensive, and im only using my car as a street car. any info that you guys might know about these bored SU's would be handy, and DO's or DONT's. cheers Fuzz

I'm suddenly in need of the fuel pipes that go from the float bowls to the carbs on my round-top 72 240Z. I believe what I have on there is from a cheap rebuild kit from about 10 years ago. The line to the front carb has cracked and is leaking. I'm sure the rear carb line won't last either so I need a pair of them. The parts CD lists this as 16356-25610 and NissanParts.cc lists them for $14.63 each. That seems like a lot for a 3 inch piece of rubber hose but as I found out the cheap stuff is no good. I couldn't find this specific part on ZTherapy's master price list but perhaps I don't know the proper terminology. MSA lists the fuel line at $19.20 and I don't even know…
