There used to be a vendor that had an add here for flush mount turn signals for the S30. Does anybody have a link to their site or remember their name?

Hi, so I have had my 280Z now for about 2 weeks and I've been looking into changing the bumpers and some other minor things. I already ordered some MSA headlight covers and some new springs/struts. I was wondering what kind of bumper/air dam options I have for a '77 280z? I've been searching since the day I bought it and all I can seem to find is 240/260 parts =( Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jake. Beginning. (My Z the day I bought it) I'm looking for bumpers like these, and a kit like in this picture or the one below it.

One of my projects for the weel was to checkout and seal the floorpans. The bottoms looked really good so I just cleaned them and did the old POR15, came out nice. Today I went for the inside of the car, drivers side was all good, hit the surface rust with onestep and walked away. Then I lifted the pasenger side carpet, gasp, seemed like half the floor came up with the carpet. So, what now, I'm in no position to do the cut and replace method at this point. I went after the rust with scraper, brush and grinder. Cleaned out all the loose rust, the floor was still solid, but there were some pin holes and heavy pitting. I applied the onestep and let it cure while I went to …

I have been working on this car for years. My workflow over the past few years has been relaxed, with me often getting discouraged do to a less than desirable workspace. January 2011 I built a 30x40 shop. I have spent the better part of this year outfitting the shop and finishing up some other projects. I am excited that after many years of my Z being broken down, sad, and getting worse every day, she is coming back to life. With many bruised knuckles and hours of scratching my head, her engine fired up and is running smoothly. I took the doors, fenders, hatch, and hood off to help with the choice to change from black to white. I sanded, cut everything in and the reinsta…

Hello All, Been active on the forum for just a little while now... bought a '73 240z down in San Diego a couple months ago to learn on and fix up. I've fixed a couple things on it, mostly electronic in nature, I removed the side and rear skirts this past week, and I'll soon be upgrading the nonworking windshield wipers to Accord wipers. Next I need to buy a rear bumper, either metal or fiberglass/plastic... i don't know yet which. I'm leaning plastic, and I'll paint it matte black. But I digress. My big problem to deal with in the near future is the rust on the car. Right now, the car has three really bad rust spots, a couple troublesome spots, and the rest seems to be…

I'm just now getting to the inspecting the underside of the 76 2+2 I bought a couple of weeks ago and it seems to have been sprayed many many years ago with some sort of undercoating, especially in the rear wheel wells. Was this standard practice from the company or did a prior owner have this done? In places where its fallen off, its seem to have worked because there doesn't look to be any rust on the metal underneath. I guess my next consideration will be how to get it all off so I can clean everything up real well and paint it. Anyone have any suggestions? I do want to be careful scrapping it so I don't scratch-up the metal under it. I'm not sure if there is any kind o…

I've got my frontend all cleaned up and painted and soon I'll be putting it all back together. The pads under the cowl finisher were disintegrated and I'm wonder where I can get replacements. I don't see them listed in the Black Dragon catalogue or do you guys make them out of the correct thiskness of rubber mud flaps or something? Also, what do you guys use for the foam tape seal that runs vertical (top-to-bottom) behind the front fenders just ahead of the door hinges? May be I should just use a heavy bead of good silicone caulking? What ever I used for these materials, I'm thinking they shouldn't be able to hold moisture Any suggestions are appreciated Thanks Gary

I want to coat some areas of the belly with POR-15 before the government starts dumping carcinogens all over the roads this winter. I don't want to over buy the POR, it is pricey. My question; what is the coverage, in Sq. Ft. for a quart of this stuff, or how much did it take to do one drivers side floor pan within and without. (inside and outside)

I am look for front fenders for my 1977.5 280Z. I ordered some replacement fenders from Black Dragon and they are better than the destroyed originals that I had, but they are still not in good shape. Does anyone know of a good source for front fenders? Thank you Jeff
