hey everyone, Anybody have any ideas on where I can get a new front valance for a 72z? I am willing to buy either a steel or fiberglass one. Also, I have noticed that some early z car valances had a narrow lip and some had a wider one. Whats the difference?

Hi im new here.. im really liking the G nose, makes me want to get a S30 and sell my s13.. Had a question, I saw on a few forums where they questioned the downforce of the G nose since it looks like it doesnt supply much and possibly offers more up lift on teh front.. well stumbling accross some pictures of JDM S30s, slight few have this lip on them. Any one know who makes it? Im sure its probably super rare. Also, I know their are fiberglass replica front ends availible, but is there any where to source the headlight covers? I think the G nose looks like poopoo without hte headlight covers... without the covers, id rather not do it... I know acrylic plexiglass can be …

Hello, Anyone ever ordered anything from these "Showcars" folks? If so, how were the parts and the overall buying experience? They appear to be the supplier to MSA for some fiberglass bits. I'm specifically interested in their 2-piece G-nose. This would be fitted to a track-only car so the part would not have to be concours-correct, but it would be nice if the "massaging" required for a decent fit was kept to a minimum. Thanks for any feedback

Can any body tell me where I can get front fenders for a 76 280Z? I have been searching with no luck. I realy could get away with a patch panel for the bottom 8 ". I haven't been able to find ant of those either.

right now my Z car which is a 75 280z has just the bumper shocks on the back. I am getting ready to paint it and have it look decent and I want to know where I can get a basic bumper bar. I saw one off some sort of Z car that was just literally a bumper bar, a solid steel tube that attached to the bumper shocks is something like that available, or what's the lighest most simple looking bumper I can get!! i swear i saw this 'bar' on some website

Yesterday, I was searching through a friends inventory of old parts he was selling and lucked across a pair of metal quarter panel 240Z emblems for early cars that mount just behind the quarter windows. They are both almost perfect, chrome is like new as is most of the paint. The car these were mounted on was, obviously, well cared for and polished frequently as the only problem with these emblems is some of the black paint at the edges had been polished off. I am trying to find out if anyone has had any success in touching up paint on these metal, chromed emblems and getting paint to adhere to the chrome. Alright, with work and doing side jobs, I've had very little time to work on both the 240sx and the 240z. As of now I just want to get rid of the rust areas on my 240z and leave it alone until I finish my 240sx completely. I was planning on sand blasting but I dont want, have the time, and extra money to have it done by a shop or renting/buying a sandblaster and compressor plus other misc. parts. So I was thinking of just getting a sander and a wire wheel for some hard to reach areas and remove most of the rust and paint. But I havent been able to figure out the process (lack of extra time). So what should I do with the car this winter? I dont want to leave the rust on th…

I just bought a 78 280z 2+2 that is in good condition. The previous owner repainted it, and he told me that he thinks he put some of the emblems in the wrong place. Could anyone show me where the correct locations are? Any help would be appreciated.

Do any of you know if the side molding on some of the 72 and 73 240's is stock? I've noticed a few on ebay and other classifieds that have the black strip running down both sides of the car. It doesnt look bad, but I like the cleaner look. The 73 I just purschased has this but the car is still in transit, so I havent seen it in person. Is this molding screwed on, can it be taken off without showing any damage, etc. Any thoughts please let me know. Inside the wheel well, near the front, there's a rubber elbow/grommet, that the headlamp & front side marker wiring passes through. The microfiche calls it a 'sealing-headlamp support.' 63814-E4100 Where can you get those? thx
