Is there a place that has fender covers that you can use on a Z? You can't just use the generic kind, because the fenders on a Z are much wider than your average car. Something maybe even with a big Z on it would be good. thx

Hey guys, Thinking about starting the body work project soon. Heres a pic of my rust, and I was wondering if this part is the right one to replace this rust. http://www.tabcobodyparts.com/html/table_of_contents.htm http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=19380&cat=500&ppuser=9982 It doesn't seem like that part I showed as a replacement goes up to that flat part.... anyone know which part that is that needs to be replaced? Thanks

This has probably been asked before but I could not find anything ...I was thinking of doing the underbody of my car and maybe the engine compartment....can it be left as is and not painted over or will it not stand up to road conditions alone....this car will not see snow or rain( if I can help it)....any help here would be great Dan

Has anyone tried to replace the rubber squeegy on the exterior window ss trim on an s30 door. I've seen that you can just buy the rubber instead of the whole trim piece but have never heard of any success stories of installing new rubber. I am curious as to how the staples are used or reused to put the new squeegy on. I want to powder coat the ss trim black and need to remove the squeegy. I don't want to screw up a new 150$ set if I can repair the old .

I'm wanting to put a large 2-4' vinyl letter Z on the side of my trailer. I went to a sign making place today and this is what I got. To make the digital image would cost $30. Each letter which will be 28" x 28" and cost $70. Custom color add another $20. I've never done anything like this so my question is, should I keep shopping for a better deal $70 seems a little high. And if I did do this would anyone else interested in something similar or smaller? Maybe get a volume discount?

the previous owner of my Z tried to repair my upper rear panel and it won't suffice for my restoration project, so I am looking for a replacement piece for my 78. I have only found a new one on MSA for a 240 and it is more than I want to spent, but says it can work on a 280... not so sure about that. 1. Will the MSA one fit well on a 280? 2. What other places sell them? 3. Know of any good parts cars with decent one? 4. Will you give/sell me yours off your car?

Hi, all, I have an early model Z with the clear glass in the rear hatch. Problem is a PO somehow put marks/gouges in the glass from a grinder or something and it needs to be replaced, or hidden. Phoenix, AZ, doesn't have any resources for old hatches to pillage and I have tried to get the gouges "buffed" out without success. I could put the louvres on to cover them up but not sure if that would make sense for an early Z. Any ideas/thoughts? Thanks!
