Question for the masses, I need to replace both floor pans. My questions are: 1. How much do i need to cut away from the existing, and are there measurements available to me? 2. Can I leave the seat brace there, and just cut around them, then weld new pans in? 3. I know a skilled welder, is this a hard task to perform?

I'm looking for a 3 piece rear spoiler for my 240, looks like what was on the late 70's Z-28 and T/A. I think I have looked everywhere for new but maybe I've missed somewhere or maybe someone here has a useable used one to get rid of. Always looking for something....

I had just finished polishing my turbine mag wheel with buffing wheel and metal polish and wanted to be sure the the area between the "spokes" was free of dirt and polish. I am painting the rough casting part . I have some POR marine clean and used it full stringth on the casting with a tooth brush, after I rinsed the rim clean with the hose I found that the areas that the cleaner touched and splashed from the brush was dull and all the shine was gone to the point that it looks like milk has been spilled on the polished surfaces, I have tried POR Artisens polish and MAAS , and it helped some to polish away the fogged areas , I am going to need to use the buffing wheel ag…

For those of us who are looking for a lot more options for a body kit, I have come up with this for starters. (yes, I got the original picture from someone on this site...by the way thanks for posting it.) I haven't come up with the back roll pan design, but the whole thing will be done in due time. Take a look, any comments that you might have (posative or negative) will speed my design plans and maybe put into production. Thanks to everyone who reads this. Happy Motoring.

I have the rubber kit from VB and it came with two tubes of the black goopy stuff. My car does not have the outter seal, only the inner one that goes all the way around the hatch opening. My questions are how do I attach both the inner and outter seals to the car? And does anyone have any pix of the outter seal (the horseshoe shaped one) so I get the installation correct? I will also be replacing the hatch window seal but already know how to install it...unless anyone has any additional tips (other than install the chrome trim before installing the window into the hatch, use silicone spray to help lube the seal so that it installs easier, use weadeater line to 'pull' …

What started out to be a little rust hole had turned into the usual monster. Luckly for me my neighbor is a high quality body man that has a very good neighbor discount, at least for me Anyway the part I need to replace it Item 11 on page 25 of the VB catalog. His question is: is this a replacement panel (glue on over the top of the existing panel) which I guess is a common thing for a lot of replacement panels or a cut to fit and weld in panel? His preference and mine are a cut and fit panel but I need to know before I order and so that he can give me an estimate. Hopefully someone has gone this route before and knows first hand.

Why is the price of the inner hatch seal from VB only $50 and the same from MSA is $125? Didn't see any reference to this wide disparity in price on any previous threads. Does one fit better than the other, is one OEM, does the VB seal work reasonably well? Beside price, the other reason I ask is that I bought the cheaper door seals from VB and they did not fit well at all. Do not want to make a similar mistake this time. Thanks, Victor.

Took the front wing off and cleaned up noticed some ugly tack welds where should be spot welds? Do you think the inner wing has been replaced? The rest of the welds seem ok. Is the standard under body treatment painted underseal?
