Guys, i have begun my journey on bringing my recently purchased z back to life. overall the car is in great shape for being a new england car but will need some work prior to spring to be fully drive-able. The car was converted at one point to a track car and was never really used for said purpose. my first purchase will be the seat brackets from the below link: https://baddogparts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5 my question for everyone is, can anyone please supply me with some measurements and locations for these?

I forgot to mention that a great product available from Honda Dealers is called Shin Etsu Grease. Just put some on the rubber seals or any soft rubber part, rub in with a cloth and it looks and feels like new. It also prevents doors from sticking closed in the cold. Honda Part Number is 08798-9013. They usually have behind the parts counter at the Honda Dealer. \\

Picked up a set of 240z door mirrors for my s30. The driver side mirror is OEM from a local dealer, and the passenger RH is a replica from Rising Sun. I’m impressed with the replica, it looks and feels like the OEM. Thought I share some pics.

This Wheeler Dealers Toyota Celica project had one of the dreaded aftermarket sunroofs, so they went with Plan B to fix it - filling the hole with a piece of sheet metal rather than replacing the entire roof. The extensive weld-and-fill process was left off, but the video does show cutting and tacking the panel beginning at 22:30

Hello all, its been a while. Wondering if there have been any improvements in door seals. I still have the used Kia seals on my car and would like to get a set of new ones made for the Z car. I have tried a couple of different aftermarket types with the same problem of the door not closing. Thanks all sb

Hey guys so I'm new and I have an old 1978 280z with rust in most common places for a Z. I live in Cali and want to do a full restoration on the body I'm currently tearing if down and want to know if anyone knows of any body shops that you guys would reccomend for this. It needs new floor panels and frame rails (frame rails are gone) also back by the hatch it has rust and also on side of driver side. I will post pictures. I dont mind if the shop is out of state as long as its recommendable and worth every penny. I really want to bring this car back to life. I'll be posting pictures and thank you guys

I recently had the bumpers for my '71 project rechromed at Denver Bumper. Cost was $275 each and that included welding up the holes for the over riders and rubber strips and also straightening them out. The front bumper had been "bumped" somewhere along the line and was nearly flat across the front. Darn near looked like a rear bumper! Both bumpers turned out pretty nice!

I'm in the process of removing the bumpers on my 260z, and removed the drivers side shock (had to drop the exhaust). Now I understand that you need to drop the fuel tank to remove the passenger side shock, but do you also need to disconnect all the fuel lines? I tried searching for this, but only mentions dropping the tank. I don't really want to mess around with the fuel system, but will have to if I don't have a choice. Thanks!

I am in the process of getting my insurance (the geco co) to pay for a Nissan seal so far with little success. They don't like authorizing oem parts. Have $250 deductible, so I will eat the windshield cost but would like them to pickup the cost of the seal & install. I have a new unused precision seal I purchased a year ago. Does anyone have direct experience with using the precision seal? How the fitment was and how satisfied you were with it.

I am almost ready for the glass to go back into my project. Is there a preferred vendor, brand or tint type I should be looking for...?
