Got my ride back from the mechanic this weekend....WOW what a difference . All of you who made the positive comments about this combo were right on...For my brisk daily driving purposes this combo is fine. The wheels/tires tuck in nicely in the arches with enough room....total drop was about 1". Sweeper exit/entrance ramps are really smooth now and the tracking is superb, I have to remember to use my brakes...I'll post a pic...now off to paint!

Of course I have snapped off the spindle pin lock bolt nut and have researched on these threads to see how to push the bolt out of the spindle. Having no luck with sledge and heat. Any suggestions on getting this bolt out? Thanks, Victor.

I have been noticing lately that my '73 likes to lean to the passenger rear. If you look at the pictures I have provided you can see that the front drivers side is high. Is it my suspension or could the frame be twisted in some way? Man I hope it is the suspension. I can't loose another Z, There are no more around where I live. Thanks

Can the colum be removed without taking apart the U-joint before the coupler or will the joint and the top of the coupler half fit through the firewall??

What is the correct orientation for the front strut mounting bearing? It is located under the strut mounting insulator. Does the open face of the bearing face up or down? On the rear suspension there is a spacer that goes under the strut mounting insulator. This spacer is missing on both of my 240Zs. I am debating if the spacer was lost over the years or is ok to to just leave it out. Thanks Miles

It's not on my Z, but the question is still the same as if it was. I have the new perches and threaded sleeves ready to install on my triumph TR7, but I'm not sure exactly where the new steel perch should be welded on. The threaded sleeve is smaller than the nut that holds the strut in place, so the sleeve will have to be on the strut when the nut is done up. How much down the tube should the threaded sleeve sit? If I have it as high as I can, then the sleeve will get in the way when tightening the big strut nut. Also, i don't want to sit it as low as possible because it will hit on the little tab that holds the brake line. I was thinking the strut tube should poke …
