I know this has come up in the past but thought I'd reiterate the correct info. According to Eibach, the front springs end with .001 and the rear with .202. The Eibach logo will be legible (not upside down) when installed. Eibachs number (not toll free) is 1-951-256-8300.

What is the best way to lower a 77 Z , I am getting ready to replace the struts and want to drop the height of the car by 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Not looking for anything with either that has to do with high performance and or racing , just a simple and economic but safe way to lower the overall height. Thanks Carolina Z

I would like to know how many people would be interested in purchasing 240Z springs manufactured to Nissan OEM or Euro specs. If you're interested, state how many sets you'd be interested in (if more than one). In general, Nissan Euro springs are 15% stiffer with little or no change in ride height.

What rear end do S13 240SX's have? Is it an R200? It looks more compact and the bolt arrangement for the mustache bar seems to be setup differently... won't work on our cars? curious... -e

So my 5spd's going away for a rebuild and I've got a house move coming up in 2weeks... Great timing, right? I thought I'd throw an old 4spd back on the Z just so I don't have to tow it to the new house... Other than making sure I've got the right collar onto which is pressed the throwout bearing (it's a different length than the 5spd one) is there anything else 4spd specific I need to make sure I have on hand? I'm racking my brain and everything else I can think of swaps over: driveshaft, tranny mount, shifter... right? -e

Hi folks, I'm in the process of swapping an lsd in to an R200, any guidelines on the torque settings for the ring gear bolts (10mm) and the bearing cap bolts. BTW would I be right in guessing that some form of thread locking glue is used on the ring gear bolts? They were an absolute pita to undo and there seems to be some residue in the bolt holes. BTW I check the pdf on carfiche.com/manuals but unfortunately it's corrupt. Cheers, Rob

Hi all, So I pulled my 5spd out this weekend with the intention of having the folks at drivetrain.com rebuild it. Only bummer is when I initially called, the person I spoke to said that for $50 they'd come pick it up from me... as it turns out when I called this morning to arrange this no one's ever heard of a deal like this and I need to ship it to them. Now having lugged it around all weekend I know it's heavy. But I don't know HOW heavy as I don't have a scale and I fear it may be just slightly too big for UPS. Does anyone have experience with sending their tranny somewhere? Did you use UPS or did you call your local freight company? -e

Dont know if this true or not............but someone told me, that the "R32 & 33 Skyline GTs Strut Towers" are a straight swap for a 1970-78 Z Strut Tower, well will bolt in with no modifications, Has anyone ever heard of this? or done this?
