Hello out there... I am re-installing my front suspension after a long floor pan (and lots of other rusted metal) replacement. Should I use STAINLESS nuts, bots, washers for any and all areas where needed...? I love stainless, but not sure if Grade 8 would be a requirement for suspension components. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks...Ryals

I have an issue where I have the same tires and rims on the front of my 73 240z but upon reassemble after frame rail rebuilding I'm noticing that the passenger side tire looks fine but the drivers side tire is rubbing against the spring seat. When I didi the repair I maintained the exact front crossmember hole placement and everything lined up and bolted up fine. This was not an issue prior to taking the from suspension and cross member apart so I'm wonder what could be so far off. Shouldn't both sides be equal distances?

I have the TTT control arms and Arizona Z mustache bar. My bushings have fallen off a couple of times. I found one on the road, luckily. I put a thin piece of rubber around the bushings to help hold them on. In the pic, there are threads inside the control arms. What are they for ? Thank you.

I took my car to a shop for an alignment. They called after a few hours and said all they could do was set toe in, but they couldn't do anything else. They said that it seems my steering rack is loose and there is side-to-side play. He said either its not bolted tight enough or the two bushings are old and deteriorated. They shop didn't charge me but told me to fix the issue and then bring back the car for the alignment and pay at that time. I noticed that there is a bolt to welded nut torque, then a lock nut torque. I put a socket on the lock nut and it seems tight. Additionally the bolt is not a high torque value (19 to 22 ft-lb) but I'm going to loosen ever…

Not a burning mystery, just wondering if anyone has noticed these stamped numbers on the steering shaft and what they might signify? 1st pic is off the 77 280Z, 2nd and 3rd pics are off two different 72 240Z's,

I am close to filling up the brake system with fluid. So I have been doing a lot of research. I have been using some synthetic Dot 3/4 stuff in all my other vehicles. What is everyone using for fluid? I have pretty much already ruled out Silicone fluid because of the poor pedal feel. I did find the Motul RBF600 which I find really interesting. Really high dry and wet temps. It is expensive, but I am not opposed to that if the benefits justify the expense.

@Joseph@TheZStore @James@TheZStore http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/10-2261 The Motorsport store shows these bushings but they have been out of stock for a while. Are you expecting more or working on an aftermarket source for these? Thanks, Charles

Hi all, I just ordered a set of BC Racing coilers and a big brake kit from TTT. I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations on a machine shop or welder in the D.C. / northern Virginia metro area. Thanks Chris
