How do i get this bolt out?? There is a lock bolt in the centre I think i need to remove, then hopefully the pivot bolt will slide out. I took the nut off the lock bolt (which did nothing, dont knwo why its even there) but I cant see how to remove the the bolt itself. Thanks guys

hi guys, while going for a hard drive the moustache bar on my R200 diff just snapped clean in half, more like a shatter. is this a common thing? has anyone had any success with metal strengthening treatments like cryogenic freezing?

I know I don't usually ask too many questions, but every once in awhile I'm just clueless on a few things. This is one of those thingies... When I'm driving down the road at speed (60-70mph, sometimes more...), I've noticed that the car tends to wander a bit from side to side. Sometimes it does this rather abruptly and sharply. I'm trying to figure out what a possible cause and cure might be. So here's the skinny on my setup: Tires: 215/60r14 on front, 205/60r14 on back. My 240 has lowered springs and I either want to be able to correct the camber or if I can't, replace the springs with ones closer to stock height. I have no idea how much these springs lowered the car(were installed 25 years ago), but the car is quite low and the tires look knock kneed, noticeably in at top and out at bottom. Obviously they are going to wear very quickly. So, what would be the best and/or least expensive camber solution? Also, the MSA catalog says that their standard KYB strut cartridge will not work with lowered springs. Why not? Does this mean that you must buy the performance type shocks even with minimal lowering(1" or less)? On an unrelated is…

got a 74 260 auto and the starter is eating the flywheel. Doesnt seem to be a way to shim the starter or adjust how its wearing the flywheel down. Anybody have any ideas?

My 1971 240z is about to be removed from the auto cocoon in the garage and gently placed back out on the street. It has been off the road for about two years and only started about 5 times in that duration. Last start was about 2 months ago. Before I get it registered what are some things that should be done, to do this properly. 2.4L mild race cam, triple 45mm webers, extractors, it blows a bit of smoke and ever more with big acceleration. shocks are loose and probably need replacing.
