I recently picked up this LSD Differential for the low, low price of $25.00, (the guy didn't know what it was) and I am pretty sure it came from a 198x Toyota Celica GT-S or a Supra. I've only had time to pull off the rear cover, so I don't really know anything like Ring Gear bolt size or stub axle teeth and stuff like that. (There are no markings that I can find on the case.) My question is this: Can this carrier be put into an R200? Thanks!

Ok, I know I'll be changing my clutch soon. So I took my flywheel that was off my L28 motor from my old Z to Top-End Performance for lightening and surfacing. Bought a "HD Street Performance" clutch disk and cover from them (some Japanese brand). I feel it's wise to replace the flywheel bolts instead of reusing the old ones. I asked the guys at TEP, and they said "get them at Nissan" "all L motors use the same bolts. My reseach found the contary though, -------------- all 240 up to 11/72 use 12315-21001 bolt all from 12/72 including 260/280 use 12315-A8600 or 12315-U0600 and both of these supersede to 12315-42L11 -------------- Now, I'm confused, I have a flywheel from a…

Does anyone know where I can get hold of an adjustable negative camber system. One that will allow me to adjust from current o degree up to 5 degree negative camber. I have heard of systems that are fixed but also systems that use a shim to adjust. Just don't know where to get my hands on a decent one (read cheap).

Hi, I can't get the steering knucle off the tie rod end... Is this a common problem? I have removed the bolt and tried hammering and it still will not come off. I've been trying for the last hour or so. Any ideas? Also, should the steering knucle be flat as mine has a small bend towards towards the length going to the tie rod. Keith do you happen to have a picture of what a good one looks like? Thanks..

Hi all, Operation Bushing Renovation has begun.. I managed to undo the lower control arm bolt which attaches onto the suspension member, however It looks as if i have to remove the steering rack inorder to get clearance to take the bolt off.. Is this correct or is there an easier way, without having to remove the steering rack? Thanks.

It's a little bar that connects the end of the front anti roll bar to the suspension arm by the front wheel. It's about 4 or 5 inches long. It has a couple of rubber bushes at each end, so it sort of looks like a bone shape. the metal "cup" that holds the bush in place at the bottom has sheared off on my 74 260Z so when I take a sharp right hander, I can hear it crunch out of place, then crunch back in when i straighten up. I need to replace it, but I don't know what to call it to order it. Can anyone help? Cheers

I'm getting ready to remove a 5-speed from a new-to-me 73 240; for transplant in my 77 280. I have a Haynes manual, and am curious if there are additional hints to supplement the manual (or conversely, any errors in the Haynes)? wish me luck.... Mike

Hey, did a search for some info but couldn't find much. Well, my tranny kicked the bucket today. Looks like it's time for a swap. I've heard that it's possible to swap in later model 5 speeds in the earlier models, (such as my 70 that came with the 4 speed...) What years should I shoot for and what's involved? I heard that the only modification needed was to widen the hole for the shifter due to the 5 speed shifter being located further forward. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. -Ben

Does anyone out there have experience with the Phantom Grip product for the R200? Seems to good to be true - but would be nice if it did work. If you have tried the product what type of hp/driving is the unit experienceing? (excuse spelling). Thanks
