Well, the UPS driver has delivered all my goodies from shox.com. And very quickly I might add (ordered Saturday, everything here by Thursday). This will be the first time in my life Iâ€™ve ever done any type of major suspension work. I scanned through the many archives of various Z car Web sites and learned the value of having a propane torch at the ready to win the battle against the control arm bushings, and the great books of wisdom will be close at hand. Any prayers or additional advice/warnings would be most welcomed before I take the plunge. :eek:

hello everyone , I have a little problem I have a r180 dif 3.9 /5speed. and I need new bearings , no problem you schould think but they sent me part nr 32273-04100 it won't fit. can anyone tell me which one do I need? thanks a lot allready. Damian

Ok -- I think the parts I have from underneath my ITS car were put on there only to test my patience... It would appear that the front gland nuts are really on there good or siezed (like the *&*^%%$ rear spindle pins!). What do you guys use to get these out? I was thinking of taking it up to Sears to figure out how big it was and get a socket to fit it. -- I tried channel locks, vice grips -- I even tried to use an 18" pipe wrench... BUt I didnt want to strip it...

I am going to replace my starter and starter motor and I would like to know if I can get one at my local discount place like PEP BOYS or NAPA ect. or do I have to order at MSA or VICTORIA BRITISH and same for rear wheel cylinder and calipers for brakes?? Thanks !!!!

Sorry if this is a cross post but it fits into several forums. Can anyone tell me what the cross-compatible struts are for my 280 when I shorten the struts? I have heard that the 86-91 MR2 rears will work as shortened front inserts, but would like to hear others' experience, plus what other options or any suggestions. This is for an ITS race car. Thanks! p

Hi all, I have Nissan Struts and I think the coilovers are Nissan as well, can't confirm for sure. I'd like to adjust the coilovers and have no idea of the name of the tool and if this tool would be generic for all coilovers?? Also does anyone have any idea where to get the tool from? Thanks..

Alight, got my pilot bearing installed correctly, put my clutch on, useing the alignment tool...now I'm trying to get the tranny back in the car, but it just won't go...I installed a new pilot bushing, so it may be tight, but I jsut can't do it. I have it all lined up so that its pretty much staight, and I pick the tranny up and move it from side to side and up and down trying to get it slide in but it just wont. I have the shaft in the disk, it just won't slide into the pilot bearing. I am thinking about tomarrow just getting some longer tranny bolts, and since its all seemed to be lined up theading those into the engine and useing all 4 of them to push the input shaft i…

Are they good? Can anyone tell Eibach part number for springs? I need the Eibach number for my local dealer so he can make an inquiry...He doesn't find these in his cataloques. I can't find info from Eibach homesite... Is there many different hardness.... I would prefer street/track

Hello there, Well I need to replace my front rack steering bushings and I want to use the urethane bushings from MSA. I have a 280z which is a 1978. My question is how do I go about doing this? I can see them from under the hood but i cant see them from under the car. Do i just need to jack up the car and access the bolts that way or do I need to go through the engine bay? I think I can just tear out the hold ones and then take off the bolts to install them. Any stepbystep instructions woudl be greatly appreciated! Nick

Has anybody used Arizona Z cars' cro-moly control arms?? I am just curious about the quality and benifits. The price is a bit steep and I think i could weld up a set for cheap, but I would like to know if it is worth the time.
