Does anyone have experience with using the aluminum offset rear bushings after lowering their car? Are they necessary? Does the camber need to be adjusted? I am lowering my car with the Tokico/Lumina kit. My car is a 1970 Z Mike

PO installed an oversized sway bar, but the center section of the bar is about an inch or two too narrow. As a result, the area where the sb bends backwards towards the links is directly under the frame, and the bar is smacking the bottom of the frame. Mechanic has suggested a 3/8 - 1/2 inch spacer to pull the sway bar down and away from the frame, and offered to machine a pair for $100. Seemed a bit much for two aluminum blocks with holes drilled in them, so I poked around the typical vendor websites but could not find anything. Has anyone come across something similar? Thanks, Tony

To recap, I installed one of the R/T style mounts I purchased from Dave (Zsondabrain) last weekend along with a total teardown of my rearend. When I (finally, after 8 months!) got it back together a week or so ago and took it for a test drive I heard a terrible "chattering" sound from the rearend. Upon inspection, it looked like when I let off the gas, the driveshaft was actually coming down and hitting up against the rear stabilzer bar. I used the GM mount and removed the stock lower diff mount. Dave's advice was to use the poly bump stop method along with the stock lower diff. mount. Being the idiot I am, I had thrown away my stock mount so I ordered and received a new …

First off, i would like to announce i am the proud new owner of my first 240z . now, for the disappointment. not in the car at all, but at myself. I love that the car has no power steering,to me, it is absolute heaven. But. I am located in san francisco and parking is just not working out. Its almost impossible to do it quickly with the lack of power steering. are there any kits, most likely electronic that i could install in the car, but have the ability to switch it off? i only need it for parking. Help is greatly appreciated!!

As the topic says: im loosing my teeth while driving my Z. Suspension is super stiff and i prefer lot softer. So heres the deal: im new to anything suspension related but i know that in order to make it softer i need to remove a lot of stuff. So suggestions and hints are taken HOW to make it more comfortable and with WHAT parts. Does BD or Motorsport have any "all bushings" package, as old ones are quite worned out. Maybe changing them helps a bit. thanks

After reading multiple posts on the issue of using polyurethane bushings for the t/c rods I noticed one solution talked about is drilling holes into the bushing per this Dime Quarterly article: http://dimequarterly.tierranet.com/articles/tech_tcrod.html. I'm curious to know if anyone out there has done this modification. If so, have any of you experienced problems? How does the suspension and steering feel after doing this? Is this a viable solution? I realize other "fixes" exist for the polyurethane issue. As a college student, though, I'm on a tight budget and my options are limited. Thanks, Bryan

Anyone know of a good website on installation of G/C coilovers on the 240Z? The instructions provided by G/C are a little lacking in detail.

I race my 240Z in Vintage Historic and consequently change wheel a decent amount. A good investment on previous cars has been APR lugs which are extremely strong. They don't list a lug for a 204Z. Anyone had experience replacing the lugs on their Z?
