Can anyone help me finding the right specs for the clock's resistors? It looks like on mine they both got burnt out. The only resistor colors I can see are: red-yellow-black-?-?-? There is a capacitor next to the burnt 2 resistors. Maybe you know this capacitor's specs as well? Thanks in advance!

Okay so im trying to install a Crane XR3000 into my late 260Z and from what I read I need to bypass the ballast resistor. Everything ive found says just run a jumper wire to the two wires on the resistor, but I have three wires on my resistor (the PO did a hack job with the ignition). Can anyone tell me how to bypass my resistor? Thanks Brad

So I am a new proud owner of a 72 240z and have a couple questions How warm do the fuses get while being used ie Headlight and Parking/Running Lights. I have not popped a fuse yet but when looking at the fusebox the AC and Parking Light slots are melted, if it is a short somewhere I imagine it would pop a fuse immediately, could be wrong though. I know it is not any of the light subharnesses because I unplugged them all and the fuse was still quite warm. Are there any likely areas where the harness is routed that is a common issue for wearing off shielding? Thanks

On the passenger side of my 76 is the relay Bracket. It has the fuzable links on the out side, The voltage regulator in the back, The AC relay on the back side, and one other relay that sits on the front side of the bracket. I have looked in the FSM but can't find out what it is for. Does anyone have an idea what this relay is??

My oil pressure gauge seems to say the right things, but slowly. I have not replaced the sender. I am wondering what the normal expectation is? I can rev up the motor and it takes a few seconds for the gauge to get to 2/3 of scale. Is this typical, is it a normal sender failure. or a gauge failure? 73 240Z, 72 SUs, Pertronix, Racer Brown 280 cam, big alternator.

When my 77 idles the voltmeter reads 13V~14V . If I am running about 2500RPM and only the radio on it jumps to 16V . If I turn on the fan or lights then it goes back to 13V~14V. I checked the grounds and cleaned the contacts in the VR . Is that normal or is the VR shot? Thanks, Jim

It appears to me as some sort of over-ride switch. It has 4 wires, two coming to it, two leaving it. When button is up (current state), it allows no power to pass through it. When the button is depressed, it allows power to pass through it. When depressed, it does not appear to be limiting electrical flow, it just seems to be either fully on, or fully off. And I have no clue what it does. The amazing Hynes manual says nothing about it either. If you know anything about the boxes on the firewall by the battery, please let me know!
