Can anyone tell me where I might find a cheap, good combination/turn signal switch. This seems to be the last thing to get my 260 to pass inspection. I have done some searching but can't really seem to find anything outside of ebay. I really can't wait for the bidding to end so please help!

Nearly a month ago I replaced my battery cables. They were corroded, weak, and nearly black from bad corrosion. Recently I popped the hood and noticed that my positive battery terminal has begun to get chalked up with black corrosion. Can I "chalk this up" to an old battery?

This one has me stumped. After a few months of sitting i jumped in and started her up,fired right up (as they do),but when i tried the blinkers, the right side went, then i tried the left and it blew a fuse,so i put another in,then that one blew and no blinkers, after alot of mucking about i pulled the relay, and it smelled like it was fried. Does anyone know which relay is compatible these days, and the original "Niles" relay is like rockinghorse sheit, cant fint it anywhere. IS there anything else it could have been, would a poked relay blow a fuse then blow out its-self?? Cheers guys.

Quite a while ago (probably a year ago or better) somebody posted a detailed explanation of how to correctly install a pertronix unit in a 240Z. In searching previous threads, I am unable to locate it. Would somebody be kind enough to point me in the right direction? Devin

Evening Everyone I just joined a few moments ago and I am already hitting you guys up for answers and advice; sorry! I am installing what I beleive to be a 240 Z engine( triple webers) in my 1975 280Z ( I still have the FI engine ). The engine bay wiring harness is coiled up on the passenger side floor ( that's where it was when I bought the car). I sent the starter and alternator from both engines to rebuild. There seem to be a whole lot of quick clips on this harness.I don't see any where to connect these too. I'm hoping they are for the lights. That would certainly explain why there is so many. I have a couple of haynes wiring diagram for both cars/ engines.Though …

Does anyone know where I can find a 'pigtail' that the bulb fits in to for the taillight of a 1973 Datsun 240Z? Mine broke when I tried to take the bulb out, it was so rusted. If I cannot find a pigtail, where can I get a harness for the rear taillight assembly. Appreciate the help, you helped me before when it came to struts and bushings. Thanks.

The indicator needle on my Tach on my 74.5 260z kinda wanders around and pegs early. I have read some postings here and I am thoroughly confused. My car has an electronic distributor, and the coil has a resistor. Is this correct?

I have read a few threads about setting this up, but if someone who has done this could help me out with what I specificly need to do and look for, i.e. where to cut and wire, that would be great. Thanks 74 260z

This is my second question in this forum. Last one was answered quickly and pointed me in the right direction. I'm hopig for the same. The following gauges do not work. Fuel, Oil Pressure, Temperature. Volt/Charge and clock work fine. Where do I start. Let me state that I recently purchased a new Haynes manual and I would need a 100 power magnifying glass to read the wiring diagram. Any starting points? Fuel light will come on when I'm low.
