Latest in my seemingly endless supply of dumb questions. I found an original power antenna for my 240 but the antenna mast is fully extended. Is there a way to manually retract the antenna so I can install it on my car? Hmmm... there's a joke in there somewhere about "If your antenna remains extended for longer than four hours, please seek medical attention..." Seriously, any insights are appreciated!

Hi all Is possible used the electric motor inside the door of 280zx , inside the door of 240z ? The teeth of the ( power window electric motor 280zx ) are equal to those of the rack of the window 240z ? If it is possible I prefer to leave the original crank of 240z, and put inside the door, the electric motor Does anyone know also the name and brand of after market kit, for the power window on 240z ? thanks

Hi again, The left headlight on my '72 240Z is/was glowing dim and it doesn't respond at all to the dimmer switch. The right side headlight works just fine and brightens and dims properly. I bought a new headlight and installed it with no change in results. Fortunately I didn't put the bucket back in before testing it. The 3 prong connector appears clean and there is no visible signs of water intrusion or corrosion. The Headlights are Sylvania Halogens (sealed beam). What is the likely cause of this problem? Thanks very much.

Hi I'm not great at electrics and I am currently stumped. The turn signals on the LH side of the car only operate at the front, nothing at the rear. While the RH turn signals operate at the back with nothing at the front. The hazards work just fine with everything blinking all the way round. I was looking for pointers on how to proceed from anyone who's had a similar issue. Thanks

The PO of my vehicle did me no favors with electrical. The wires behind the heater control panel are a total mess. So I am slowly working on solving what's what and cleaning it all up. For a while the blower motor worked, and now its not working for me. The wires around the heater are all jumbled up, and I would love to know where a good clear resolution wiring diagram can be found, or ideas for me. I also have been going slightly nuts trying to find the hookup for the switch for the rear defrost. They just come out of the center console, and i cannot for the life of me find where they plug in. THank you for the help.

Took off today and found that the passengers side headlight is dim. This is strange and sudden, as I have installed the relay upgrade as well as headlight upgrades, and have had no issue for almost a year. Would love to hear some ideas on what this could be a result of.

I am in the process of putting my dashboard back into the car (1973 240z), I didnt label the connections (bad mistake, I know) Everything seems to work, except my dash lights. My current issue is that I keep blowing the parking light fuse (third one down from the right, MSA fuse box) when I turn the dimmer switch. Any suggestions on how I should approach my issue?

Hi, I'm rewiring my car for a Chevy v8 swap. I've got a lot of it figured out, but need some help. The car is a 1973 car and I think it used to be manual. This first picture is of the main harness below the battery at the firewall: The red arrow is pointing to a solid yellow wire that goes to the voltage regulator plug. It is spliced together with another yellow wire at the plug. I am removing the voltage regulator. This yellow wire comes out of the firewall along with the black/yellow wire which goes to the starter. The two wires are sheathed together. The green arrow points to 4 wires.
