Howdy, Anyone going to be in Monterey in Aug 22-26 for Monterey Car week // Historics at Laguna Seca? I’ll be working at Laguna on the 22, and probably will be at the track over the weekend, if anyone wanted to meet up and go for a cruise. It’s also supposed to be all about Nissan this year? :)

THE ROOTS OF MONOZUKURI: CREATIVE SPIRIT IN JAPANESE AUTOMAKINGhttps://www.petersen.org/the-roots-of-monozukuriA wonderful exhibit with many original, unrestored vehicles. Sadly, no 240Z was on display, nor in the Vault. A must see if you are in the LA area. For you Tucker fans, Number 31 is in their workshop having some electrical fire damage repaired.Keith

A great event this year! The weather was hot and so was Team Wodopian and their green 260z. Mike W took home first place in modified 260/280 and....... Best in Show. Nice job Mike! Team Wodopian's 5 man crew were sporting matching pit crew 260z shirts. All members of Mike's family from far and wide. First place in stock 240's went to Zup's beautiful flat top powered 73. Big congrats Jim! Jim's 3 person crew also has matching Zup approved shirts but Zupette & Tavish did not arrive in time to qualify for full team credit. Scott M. took 1st place in the hotly contested 280 stock division with his very clean red car. I think it was his new seats that p…

I have 5 vendor spots at Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals/East Coast Z Nationals May 18-20. My friend who usually sells Z/Miata parts with me isn't coming up from Myrtle Beach this year. I'm looking for 1-2 people who have some Z parts to sell and want to share my vendor spots. The only thing I want in return is someone to watch my stuff so I can get out and enjoy the show now and then. Info on the show is here: http://www.carlisleevents.com/carlisle-events/carlisle-import-and-performance-nationals/default.aspx I've attached some pics during setup last year. If you're interested or have questions email me. cbuczesk@comcast.net Chuck

It could be a busy few months ahead for Adam Carolla's stable of vintage racing Datsuns, with the Mitty and Monterey Rolex as highpoints. PLN Datsuns will be included in a display at June's San Marino Motor Classic in California as well: https://www.topgear.com/car-news/motorsport/marvel-paul-newmans-racing-cars-including-933bhp-nissan
