In my autocross 101 DVD the host mentioned using a chest strap to help your upper body stay fixed when going through the course, but there was no mention about how the chest strap is designed. I assumed it was just a length of wide belting with a buckle or clip, or some wide Velcro with a D-ring. You put it around the seat and across your chest, then tighten it. Has anyone had one or have some information I can read? The only thing I have trouble with is keeping the belt in place around the back of the seat, unless you install something up hold the trap up, like some D -rings.

I recently visited the International Motor Racing Research Center (IMRRC) in Watkins Glen, NY (https://www.racingarchives.org/). Unfortunately, their collection of Datsun/Nissan information is quite limited. (I have attached photos of the titles currently in the archives.) Should you (or your family) decide to donate your Datsun/Nissan literature, please consider IMRRC a worthy caretaker of historical racing (or other) publications. Keith

Sadly, I just placed a classified add for my 260Z endurance racer. The car is still in Michigan and I moved to Arizona in March. I don't have the space or time for the car here and the car needs to be moved in the next few weeks. The car is at a friend's house and he is getting ready to epoxy the garage floor, so the car must go. I have no other place to store it, so if you know anybody looking for a track or race car, send them my way.

I am in the process of building/installing vent/cooling hoses to the backing plates on my 73 240Z race car and noticed at full wheel turn the tire will contact the hose quite a bit. I have seen them flattened but wasnt sure if that was the best way to go?

This incar is of a one lap PB around the improved Lakeside circuit in AU, hosted a couple of international F1 GP's back in the late sixties plus V8 supercar races after then. Now it hosts races, time attack etc up to State level, pretty testing circuit but a real blast if you can keep it on the tarmac Anyway here is the vid, perhaps others would like to post their one lap PB's, Z is a 280ZXT with a VG30DET engine and Federal FZ201 semi slicks

I bought a cheap eBay carpet set. I really only needed the rear cargo carpet. Suggestions on how to get the wrinkles out? I hot steamed the heck out of it and hung it. It’s only been a little bit. Maybe laying in the hot FL sun? This kit is cheap and I would not recommend. My used search has not turned anything up. I guess I’ll leave neutral feedback as it got here quick, but for the life of me why they wouldn’t have rolled it is beyond me.

@HS30-H Hi Alan, Here is a picture of an old fibreglass hood on an 03-70 240. Does it look like something from Nissan or aftermarket?
