A few weekends ago Road America up here had vintage races, which included 5 S30's, a 510, and a 2000 Roadster. Sadly they were racing 8 hours into the day so I didn't get too many shots since I was running out of memory card space, and then battery died. Either way, I hope you enjoy some of the shots I took at the event. High resolution versions are available on my twitter feed for all pics from the event, too. Also, if you know whose car it is, give 'em a shout out! Feel free to check out the rest that I took from the event on my Flickr feed. I don't want to kill people's bandwidth too much!

I was checking the MidOhio racing schedule to see the dates for the vintage weekend, and I read that one of the races for that weekend was called the 2Bad Challenge. Apparently, last year the Datsuns beat the BMWs and Alfas. I was not able to find any details and was wondering if anyone knows what happened there. This year, the BMWs and alfas want to take the 2Bad award back: It looks like you would want to get tickets for this year's event, if you like the SVRA stuff.

Lots of Nissans in LMP2, unfortunately one driver has died in a single car accident in the first 10 minutes of the race.

I'm putting 280zx rear brakes on my 240 per the SCCA E-Production rules. This is what I'd like to do but have some concerns. A friend is doing some research for me on this but I thought I'd run it by the forum just the same. I've also searched all over the web including this site but haven't found exactly this issue. I want to remove all the internal components of the caliper leaving only the Piston, Piston Seal, and Piston Boot. Then, I'll cut off the excess part of the Caliper Body at the point where the helical Push Rod goes through its passage. I'll then seal off the passage leaving a tight chamber for the Piston. I'll also close off the small air passage on th…

Anyone on this board into rally racing? I've been watching it on Speedvision a lot lately. I've always been into racing, but, this looks like it would be a lot more challenging than a standard race. I'm interested in it, where do I start looking and who do I talk to? I'm really interested in the Zcar aspect of it.
