There was a GT2 roller for sale on Ebay, about 2-3 years ago, and I'm trying to locate it. I caught the auction too late and the lister would not divulge the new owner. It's my guess the car is still idle and peraps the new owner would be willing to make a deal. I'd like to get it mostly for it's race history and log books. Bill (prowrench on these forums) sold it a few year prior to the ebay auction, here's his ad: http://teamtac.org/e107/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?29928

This is just a post to show you what you've missed being on the wrong side of the ocean (or in the wrong ocean ) We start to have more and more classic show in Europe such as SPA classic, Le Mans Classic & many classic historical race rebouts. This weekend, we had the race at Le Mans: apparently 120,000 visitors, over 8,000 club cars & over 400 race cars running at the track for real. We, as Datsun enthusiasts we had a spot right next to the track to park & show our cars. What's nice also regarding this show is you can access everywhere (paddocks, pit line, etc.), cars were everywhere. I get in a traffic jam with Porsche 917, Ford GT40 & Bugatti's - i…

I gave a go at drag racing one night last summer for fun. IIRC, my "reaction time" was 0.7 seconds, and a guy I met there said that's not good for serious competition, and I should work on it. AFAIK, the reaction time includes in your reaction to hit the gas pedal, and the time it takes for the engine to get the RPMs up to get the torque converter to spin and get the drive wheels turning. So if the reaction time was 0.7s and the green light illuminates 0.4s after the amber ones, then you should theoretically hit the gas before the amber light illuminates? There must be something I'm missing from my Internet research on drag racing. Can anyone help or explain? Any tips…
