So if you guys can make it, we will be running on North Island the weekend of October 6th! This is a big spectator event and should be a good venue to see my little datsun run. This is the stepping stone to racing at Monterey!! Here is are a couple of links to this event: http://www.coronadospeedfestival.com/ http://www.fleetweeksandiego.org/CoronadoSpeedFest.htm Ron C

I am still around, but just not posting much these days. Thought I would share a couple of pics and a link to an in car video from the Inaugural Eagle's Nest Hillclimb last weekend in N.C.. My car is the yellow one and the BEAUTIFUL blue is Bill Coffey's. I finished about .3 back from Bill but I had one more run than he did. Unfortunately he broke a tranny. Enjoy Video link

For more background, please read the Jan and Feb 2004 articles previously submitted within the General Racing forum. During the weekend of 14-16 February, I had the opportunity to race at the Vintage Auto Racing Association (VARA) Route 66 Classic, at California Speedway. VARA invited several organizations to share the venue for the weekend, including vintage NASCAR and historic Champ/Indy cars. Things are a bit boring within this subforum so I thought I'd start throwing out some of my miscellaneous babblings. Below is my an article which was my first installment for a racing column within the January 2004 Z Owners of NorCal (ZONC) newsletter. The dates shown at the bottom of the article are out of data, but that racing organization continues to put on an outstanding driver training program each year. Other article to follow unless I catch too much hell for these submissions.:knockedou Hi everyone. My name is Mark Belrose, and depending upon whether you like or hate my attempt at a racing column, you can either thank or blame your illustrious editor, Jose Gu…

Just stumbled across this on the local club circuit website. http://www.canterburycarclub.co.nz/lap_of_ruapuna_international_raceway.htm It's a flying lap of Ruapuna (roo-a-poo-nah) track which I used to hoon around years ago on my RGV250 and a 120mph Yamaha YZ125 methanol powered go-kart. When I have the zed finished it will "get the treatment" around here but only against the clock. Enjoy

I have looked here and i cant find no one that has installed a fuel cell using the stock filler and without having a big tube going from the center of thecar to the filler. I was thinking of getting a 15gal but i havent bought it yet because of this issue. im getting the car ready for a rb swap. i think that if i was to mount it a little low and raise the rear floor section i would be able to do this but not too sure im still brainstorming and its been buggin me for a few weeks any ideas will be highly appreciated. thanks..its a 75 280z
