I thought I'd put this here since 50's are for the most part a "race only" item. I emailed him asking if they were Solex/Mikuni's, or strictly Solex. He replied with the following: Theses are made by solex before Mikuni took over. These were made when Solex and Mikuni first started merging. They are cast Solex made in Japan Ebay auction here The N42 head is also included. I wonder what Mikuni parts, such as jets, will transfer over?

Hey All, Thought the two wheelers on the site (and those who appreciate speed) would like this video. Don't know if its been posted before. http://media.putfile.com/TT2005retro/original Nice music (Joe Satriani) to go with the footage. Go past the vintage footage for the good stuff. Chris

Quick note to the racers here that have to retain OEM type glass in their cars. Jmark brought out to the track this past weekend an aftermarket windsheild that was pitted from gravel from street use. Thanks Mark!! While unpacking trailer at home, handling the windsheild along side a badly cracked OEM peice, I noticed a definate difference in weight of 2 units...has to be 5-6 pounds....great place to lose a little weight, up high in the car. Swap out the OEM glass with the cheapest aftermarket peice you can find!! Good luck with your racing... David

A Corvette wrecked at Putnam, a fence post went through the car, then through the drivers seat and broke his shoulder blade. Could've been much worse... There are pics about 1/2 way down. http://www.nasaforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=6643
