I just won a book like this on Ebay for $42. I know it is Japanese, but is it a good picture history of the S30 race cars? Looked interesting to me. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=378&item=4566786804

I went to watch the Australian hillclimb championships at Collingrove yesterday and it reminded me to upload some video i took at a small meet last year (you can see how dry it was then). These three Zs are always up there going hard, the white one belongs to South Aussie Z guru Peter Hall and it has also competed in classic Adelaide a few times. For those who don't know the track (most people here i'd guess) it's pretty short, very thin and very technical. I've attached a small map on the bottom of this thread. I took some video this weekend and i might upload that if i can get around to it. Anyway, here's the link to the first vid: http://www.classiczcars.com/photo…

Hi All, well I am a regular poster on the 350Z sites, but I wanted to share some info for the Older Gens too cause I know how great they can hang in the twisites! I was behind a few older gen Z's at mid-ohio track couple of months ago for a *fast* parade lap!!!!! Here is the info: Spots still open for "Flat out Sunday" at BeaveRun.com This will be my second time on this track and it's great fun. HPDE situation where you have an instructor in the car w/ you to teach you how to drive on the track. AWESOME! And can you say 100+ mph on the straights? I know Peptidbond is going as well. So IF you have ANY speed in your blood, come on out.........make sure to check …

I just happened to be browsing through a copy of the Complete Book Of The World Rally Championship by Henry Hope-Frost & John Davenport - a good read which amongst other things includes a chapter on all results of WRC events since the inception of the WRC in 1973. I noted that in the 1973 Press On Regardless rally in the USA, that Jim Smiskol/Carol Smiskol came 3rd in a Datsun 240Z. 1 110 Walter Boyce/Doug Woods Toyota Corolla 1600 418.47 min 2 J.Walker/T.Palmer Volvo 142S 439.96 3 J.Smiskol/C.Smiskol Datsun 240Z 453.60 4 J.Buffum/W.Zitkus Ford Escort RS 459.03 5 J.Rodgers/E.Brooks Datsun 510 465.01 6 R.Mucha/…
