I've got a '72 240z that I'm building up for autocross and maybe IT or something more serious like E production one day. Anyway, I'd like some advice on where to find some weld-in camber plates. And why not caster/camber plates too. Thanks! clay

Wake up everybody! This forum has been too quiet, so I'm throwing this out for fun... I'm repainting my car (white again) to try and remove the reminders of the hundreds of cones I have crushed while flogging this car for the past 10+ years. To jazz it up I'm planning on putting some bold graphics on the car, vinyl, not paint... So, Some friends and I have come up with someting like 22 different options so far and posted them on this site http://sth2.com/Z-car/newstripes/ Take a look at them all and let me know which ones you like (or hate)... I'll post the top few as of now... starting with the top pick of my wife and kids... Tom

I was browsing through the magazine racks at the train station the other day, and spotted the latest ( March 2004 ) edition of VINTAGE RACECAR magazine, which is published in the USA. Below the name of the magazine I spotted the headline "RALLY LEGEND", so I pulled the mag out of its top-shelf spot to have a closer look. My jaw immediately hit the floor..... Underneath the "RALLY LEGEND" headline was an almost full-cover photo of a red S30-series Z car, along with the appetiser: "We test drive the African Safari-winning Datsun 240Z" However, the cover photo showed what appeared to be a standard LHD road Z with some modifications that roughly resembled the outward app…

Ok Guys -- I am going to sell the Z I have been building for the last few years. I have been urged that it would be best for me to get a street cruiser that we (the family) can all enjoy rather than have a car that sits until I get the budget for new tires to take it to the track.... So here is the rundown, I am not ready to sell it yet as I would like to finish the remaining minor details so that I am giving someone a car that is ready to go to tech (or at least as close as I can get it). If someone would like to make me an offer that I cannot refuse, I will of course consider it! (the price will reflect the remaining items) So pictures will be coming as soon as I get …

Back to the roots of rallying. We have done the www.hornelandrally.nl, a rally of 900km long. What a night! The no1 car started Friday at 14.00 hours, we with our number 99 did that ninety-nine minutes later. I left my house at ten Friday morning to be on time in the ‘parce ferme’ at noon, by then I did not realise that I would see my bed the next evening! Still it was very nice to participate despite the bad weather conditions, lots of rain and heavy wind made the Belgian Ardennes difficult to drive through. The Ardennes are full of clay/mud so one and one is two. Many off road accidents occur. One made roll over in the grassland, one hit a light mast and man…

I was just thinking that since Ohio is kind of squarish/pentagonal, it would be cool to see a rally (race) around the state. I'm going to dig up some maps later to see if the roads will actually make a circuit around the state. Did I forget any major stuff? Besides that, someone will probably have to actually travel the circuit and measure the distances and confirm the ccircuit and such. While I'm not an expert at setting up a (race)- just thought I would put some effort into the feasability of the idea. Then one day, after my Zed is back on its wheels, I would do this thing- if I got to that. Would make for a cool movie, maybe a kind of cannonball run. I also w…
