I started working on my cage last week. After checking with the SCCA on the legality of my main hoop I'm going to get some more work done this weekend before the ice storm. Pictures of my plans, tubing bender/notcher setup and main hoop work can be found at the bottom of the page at this link: EP Cage Build

Selling a custom fuel cell from my 72 ITS car. 12 gal. Poly Jazz cell with anti-sloshing foam, all inside alluminum container, mounted to steel frame. AN fittings throughout, including roll-over check valve. Bolt or weld tabs to the "psudeo-frame rails" under the car and bolt this in place. Obviously requires removal of the stock tank, and the tire well... Does not stick up above the inside deck level. Fab a cover for the newly created opening with a hatch for filling the cell, and go racing! Less than 2 season on this unit. Great shape, with small dent and scuff on can. See photos on my gallery. http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&pp…

Could you guys help me out figuring which wheels in the 15x7 size including make, style and offset would be the lightest for my SCCA ITS 260Z? I know the Panasport ultralights are made to fit but I don't know which others would fit the bill. Thanks!! Rick

Mrs. Chino240Z & I watched some good racing at the Vara event this weekend at California Speedway. It was fun to watch a pack of Porsches trying to chase down Mark Belrose in his Z. He had a top 10 running car all weekend & made it up to 5th on Sunday until his brakes gave way from off a bank turn at about 120mph! Bolts holding rotor to hub broke, saved the car in the infield nearly missing a 60's Vett! What a ride! Anyways met a few other Z people there and saw alot of awsome cars. What a nice weekend for getting outside! :classic: Craig

I was reading the post about a computer game (http://www.240z.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=13783#post13783) which referred to a site in denmark? (.de) www.nissan-szene.com, anyway I used google to translate the site and found a downloads page with lots of video. The last one on the list was datsun-power.zip (about 1.5 meg) so I took a look at it. It's a video of a Black 240z driving insanely! You gotta watch this. http://www.nissan-szene.de/cgi-bin/download/download.pl?file=datsun-power.zip its a .wmv file Mr C

If any of you Phoenix guys are looking for something to do this weekend, stop by PIR. HSR-West is holding vintage races there, and the Kruse auction is at the same location. I'll be there with the CP car (for sale sign attached). HSR has promoted me to the big bore group, meaning I'll be running against the V8 cars. I'm not worried, they can't get their cars around corners, and PIR is pretty tight. The only other 6 cyl cars in the big bore group are a pair of facotry sponsored Jaguar E types, and they have 4.2 liter engines. Stop by and say hi, it should be a great weekend. Mike
