Hi all, Just wondering if bigger sway bars are better for racing? I was going through some of my old parts and came across a 3 in. sway that i forgot i had! So, that said, should i put it on the front or on the back or: don't put it on at all? Thanks, Paul

I have twice pipes and a stock exaust manifold on my 73 240Z, the car is definately going to be louder @ WOT (aka WFO) than 90db, but I have the chance to run Laguna next month if I can do something about it. Does anyone have a muffler idea, or should I just run another muffler in the center? If I get black flagged for sound 3x I will get booted from the track, and that would be a waste of big moola. No I do not want a disk type muffler, too many horror stories. Most other adjustable mufflers cost way too much. Since the twice pipes route RIGHT under my damn rear end, I wouldn't mind ripping the setup off the car anyway and making up my own exaust, so I may do that, if …

Just surfing a few of my favorite sites tonight and found some videos of FFR Cobras racing... They are all a bit big for those of us on the "dinosaur" connections, but they are worth it. The one of Summit Point (where I used to race) is a blast. Unfortunately it only show 1/2 a lap of the track, and I'm glad I wasn't riding with the guy on the start..... http://www.factoryfive.com/videos.html

http://www.dleong.org/2003/tt/ncrc1/ncrc1.htm Only in one pic, there was another, nicer looking 240Z there but in probably the same group as the photographer. This is the primered demon that I picked up not long ago (2 months), I'm in pic #13. I'll post more pix/video as I can get a hold of em. One car that I could not keep up with was a yellow/white striped Cobra replicar, that guy was fast!

Ok so I have fabbed up and welded in a really nice NASCAR style cage for my fuel cell. I have welded it in and patched the floor areas surrounding where the cell is now. Upon closer reading (read "first time") of the GCR, I need to bulkhead all of the inlets and lines. How have any of you guys done this in the past? I am curious as to how this should look when done -- I definitely understand the purpose for this, but am not sure if I should just build a hinged cover over the whole assembly or not.. Thanks! p

Mandatory Z content: No Z's in this kind of racing, but............ Has anyone seen the Australian V8 Super Car, and British Touring Car racing on Speed TV this winter? Wow, I have seen some great racing in these two series in the past few weeks. I'm not sure how old the races are (2002 season for sure, but what month(s) they actually raced, I don't know) but they have some great close racing going on in these series. If you'all have a spare hour or so to kill what with NASCAR, CART, and IRL hibernating, do yourself a favor and check it out. Carl

Hey List, We need to join in and help 2ManyZ's get this GT2 car , so he doesn't have to sit home on the weekends with his dog. He really needs a project he can complete before the next Ice Age Here is a pic of the car he is thinking about.

Hi all, I thinking about getting a Z, prob a 240 or 260 as they appear to be the faster cars. Im planning on using the car to race in a historic class against Escort II (European car) old BMW 3's and datsun 510's, regs in the class i'll be entering limit power to weight so its all about car and driver ability. What is the chassis on these cars like?? Are they rigid and handle well or are they just point n squirt cars?? All the race history Iv come across is single class only for Zs, which would lead me to believe that the chassis is not competitive, please tell me Im wrong, as they do look so nice. Cheers Chris
