My water **** has recently started leaking. While I'm changing that out I will also be replacing the heater core, whatever new hoses are available and the part I will be needing. My '74 had A/C.(no longer) The hose connector between the engine compartment and the passenger side of the firewall is currently with the A/C vacuum water **** that comes just before the water valve that you adjust the temperature with. I no longer need that piece. What I'm looking for is the Non A/C hose connector. I have a pic of what I'm looking for. This can also be found in the '74 FSM on AC-55. <-- Click to enlarge this may also be the same in earlier and/or later models, not su…

Trying to locate any pictures someone may have of this. In particular for using the Blackdragon 260z front bumper on a early 240z. http://www.blackdragonauto.com/icatalog/zr/full.aspx?Page=20 From searching it appears that the brackets would need to be adjusted, just curious if the 260z bumper wraps around neatly or basically how they would look. I am just looking for a bare bumper without any the override bars or guards. I suppose I could go with the 260z rubber strips and just leave the guard holes there without the actual guards place.

I have replaced the windshield-wiper motor on my 1975 280z and know the new one works, but it appears that the actual wiper assembly is frozen. There is one out of a 78 for sale on E-bay, and I am wondering if anyone knows if it would fit my 75. I am finally close to passing inspection in New York, but need this to work. Thanks,

I have a 1977 280z that I am swapping out motors from a 1982 280zx l28et. All of the mechanical part of it is done except the turbo plumbing. The problem im having is the electrical. I just bought a harness for the l28et motor to run the ecu but I dont know where to begin installing it, some of the wires are cut so if you have any pointer or instructions on how to go about this Id appreciate it. If all else fails im also willing to pay any locals to come and help me. thanks, Jon

bought some bumpers from a 71 production 240. went to install onto a 73 but looks like mounts are different. after some research I,ve learned about the introduction in 73 of 2.5km/hr bumpers that sit out from body a little further than previous years. just wanted to locate any helpful info, or possibly a fiche or image of the two different set-ups, so i can figure out a good retro method to get these bumpers mounted. any help would be great, thanks.

Greetings, I tried to clean up the turn signal switch in my 1972 240Z and while successfully cleaning the contacts, managed to break the circuit board when installing it back into the metal case. Le Bummer. Went to the local junkyard and struck out with the Z's. However, on my way out I happened upon a 1976 Datsun pickup (model unknown). I took a look and, damn, the turn signal switch sure looked like the one I was looking for. As it turned out nearly identical. Physically it is exactly the same. One difference is that it uses all six pins in the connector instead of five. The sixth is used by the horn ring which is separate on the Z. I did have to swap a couple of …

I have no idea what the stock mirror was, but my 1972 came with a bullet-style passenger side mirror. I've never been very happy with it because of its small size and laser-like reflection path. Part of my dissatisfaction is, of course, the fact that it has to be manually adjusted (remote mirror control and retractable seat belts about the only really, really, worthwhile advancements in the last 40 years -- in my book) but manual adjustment wouldn't be so bad if it had a field of view wider than a pinhole. I could get it adjusted to cover the blind spot, but if it were bumped or simply vibrated out of position a bit I couldn't tell it was no longer aimed at the blind s…
