Hey I know everyone is always looking for some type of different engine to put I their Z = LS1, RB20/5/6, or 2JZGTE, etc. well has anyone ever heard of the Ford Barra engine? I thought I would make a quick post. The 510 wasn't charging so I did a little research on Rockauto. The 240z uses the exact same part so I pirated one off one of the Z's and that fixed the charging issue. Plug N play

The sound quality is what you'de expect from a 1978 radio but it IS stereo. All you need is a 5 pin din cable and a toggle switch to change power + in for input sources. Take the bottom side off and you will see a "C" on the pcb. This is the power in for aux. You will have to cut the blue power + in at the harness where it goes into the radio and wire it thru the toggle switch. When you flip the switch, you send power to the aux in side. Switch it the other way you send power to the tuner. You will have to find a place to put the aux in jack and the toggle switch. I am hoping my scan is legible enough. This is the factory manual... I can probably enlarge parts if I need to. We are trying to get the light's working on Cody's wagon. Most of the running lights seem to work and the turns supposedly work per Cody but I haven't checked behind him yet. The problem is the headlights. He said they worked once and then not again. I have done some testing with a meter and both sides of the high beam lamp have battery voltage, that doesn't seem correct. I would think one would be power in and one would be ground. How can I have voltage on both sides?

We acquired some non retractable 3 point seat belts from SteveJ after his visit. I knew there was a mounting spot behind the vinyl in the B post, you could feel it. Went to install them today and cut through the vinyl. Surprise! The hole is there but no nut to bolt into. So now what? I need some ideas for getting a nut inside the B post up high and fixed without butchering anything...
