Will it work? I would love to go from auto to manual in my 260, but just not sure which transmissions will fit in it. Really want a 5sp.

In the book that came with the car it said the adjustment nut was 15mm, and I saw that somewhere else, however my adjustment nut was 14mm. However the other nut I loosened was 17mm. Was something changed on my car in the past do you think? As far as the adjustment goes most of the exhaust valves were too tight. I believe it said .012 in the manual. I made sure that when done that .014 and .010 would not fit. On the intake valves I made sure .006 and .010 would not fit after I felt a slight drag on .008 I hope all it well. This was cold and I have not put on the valve cover as I am wet sanding the valve cover to polish it later today.

260z....differential bolt for checking the level is stuck. I've tried everything but that square bolt sucks and, of course, there is that metal bolted to it and the bushings on the frame, so a combo wrench is really the only option. I've tried an air hammer to loosen it, 1/4 can of PB Blast, a hammer and a huge combo wrench. It hasn't stripped out yet, but getting there. Ideas guys? There's no room, and even with leverage it won't budge. Is torching a bad idea on the transfer case?

As some of you know I have run into the problem of high compression on my engine rebuild. I have a rebuilt engine bored .020 with flat tops. Sitting on top is an mn47 head that is rebuilt but stock. I now know that the compression will be too high and am looking for a 2mm copper headgasket. I haven't found one that is reasonable but did find someone here in the Phoenix area who could make one but it would be 2.33mm thick. How do i find out what the compression would be with a gasket this thick??

What sort of cars should I be looking for, for a 3.90 or 4.11 diff? It would really be righteous if I could get a LSD with it.

I found this line going in to my fire wall broke off. I think I found the other end, went to something A/C related. Going to be trying to get the AC to freeze me out and want to make sure I cross my I's and dot my T's. Unknown line.bmp

I have 2 engines, one in the car (now runs great after a new AAM and electrical connectors) and one that I'm considering rebuilding. Th one in the car has an EGR system and the other none, no pot on the intake and no vacuum line to the throttle body. Which is the better setup? I lean towards no EGR but don't know all the facts.

i need to search further to make sure it is a rod bearing, but i have a rattle in the engine from about 2300 rpm to 3300rpm's. if so, i should be able to pull a spark plug wire one at a time and single out the cylinder/s that need new bearings ya? then can they be replaced with the engine in the car? just drop the oil pan and replace?

I have a 73 240Z with 5speed. I have purchased the MSA 3 row radiator and have realized that the fan will probably be to close when soft mounted. I am looking at two different ebay kits. This one has an adjustable thermostat. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DUAL-12-INCH-ELECTRIC-FAN-ADJUSTABLE-THERMOSTAT-49-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem35b13f9778QQitemZ230607001464QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories This one has a preset thermostat to turn on at 180. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DUAL-12-INCH-ELECTRIC-FAN-THERMOSTAT-RELAY-KIT-38-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem43a625d755QQitemZ290550306645QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Does anyone have any experien…

I recently drained my tank and installed a new fuel sending unit. Thought I could get a new drain plug and washer from Nissan but they have been NA for some time. I do need a new washer, drain plug stays wet, (aren't they crush washers similar to the oil plug drain washer?) and thought someone might know of a source or something that would do the job. Thanks Dan
