Does anyone know if the electric fuel pump off of a 80-85 Nissan 720 Pickup can be used as a replacement for the early 240 electric pumps, specifically a 73'. They both look the same to me and the cost is more than reasonable. See linky below. Nissan 720 Pickup Fuel Pump

I have a set of halfshafts (maybe thre driveshaft too) from a low-mileage 1978 280Z. Very good condition. I'm wondering if they still have good enough value to put up for sale here or just recycle to the metal-man? thx

I'm currently shopping for a 240 for a Solo car and occasional parade/street use. I'm finding alot of info, but one thing I couldn't answer was what makes the R200 diff so much stronger than the R180. Besides the LSD availabillity (since I'll likely buy a Quaife or other Torsen or Haldex type diff) is it simply the difference in ring diameter that makes the R200 stronger? BTW I'll also eventually get custom gears made for it, as there is a VERY good local shop for that where I live. P.S... While I'm at it, I'm looking for all the pictures and descriptions I can find of different exhaust setups (in particular I remember hearing about a duel exhaust using a 6-2 header, wit…

I'm looking for a 4BBL intake manifold for my 1974 260z. If anyone has some links or names of companies who make such a part please post em here. Also lookign for a cheap 6 to 1 header, and a decent rebuild kit. (rings, gaskets etc) Any advice?

Can somebody explain me the difference between 110 and 115mm. I’ve got a 180 diff 3.9 and love to know if this a 110mm ring or a 115mm. Does a 115mm rack and pinion set fit in a former110mm? Vice versa?

I am having a problem figuring out which motor mount goes where. I am not actually talking about the motor mounts but the part that attaches to the engine. I know I should have marked them but I didnt think they were any different until I tried to put them back on. Could someone please help and thanks

Hi there, I am currently looking in to purchasing a 240Z and the first thing I'd like to do is drop and L28 motor in and do some custom exhaust work. I have been looking on the net for days and haven't had any success in finding this, but I was wondering if there is any way I could get the exhaust and muffler running on the sides of the 240Z. I'm sorry if I'm making my question clear... What I am trying to do is adapt the old Corvette type of look with this (sorry if this offends any of you). Any pictures or websites would be very helpful. Thank you all for taking the time to look for this for me.

I am still in the process of my auto to 5 speed swap and am kinda stuck. I bought a new clutch kit and it has a little round thing I think is a pilot bushing does it go in the end of the crankshaft? On the end of the crankshaft there is a cap that goes over the back of it I had to pull to change the rear main seal do I leave that on for the swap or do I take it off. Also there is a spacer that was behind the flexplate for the automatic I assume that I dont need to install that on when putting the flywheel on right. Sorry about all the questions, but I am new to this. Shane
