Hello, I currently have a 1972 Fairlady Z that have entertained the idea of selling it. The car has been in dry storage since the early 80's only having 29,000 kilometers on the car, I see the early Z market all over the map and I was looking for a honest answer on its value. I know it's no 432 but I believe it has to be one of the most original Fairlady Z's out there the gas tank , carbs and brake's need attention from sitting has great oil pressure alternator charges it runs great considering how long it really has seen the road. I am not familiar how the production number go but the firewall stamp read's S30-09435 Thanks Dwayne 734-395-3240 3dcustoms@gmail.com

I saw my first Nissan Fairlady 280Z during my first duty station with the navy in Angeles City, Philippines from 1985-1986. Following the Philippines, I spent two years in Misawa, Japan from 1987-1989, which is when I purchased my first car ever a 1979 Nissan Bluebird 4 door sedan. I always liked the Datsun 280ZX, but did not know when I would get one. When I was about a year from moving from Japan to London, England my 1980 Fairlady Z came up for sale. I just had to have her, so off to the bank I went to secure the funds to purchase her. I did not know the first thing about differences between Fairlady Zs and Fairlady 280Zs. I bought her thinking it had an L28 engi…

Saw a Fairlady right hand drive in Sedona Arizona in the same spot on the side of a parking lot for several days next to the main drag (highway 89A) a few weeks ago. Not sure it is drivable. It was parked in front of a tire shop. Will be able to get more info in a week or two if anyone wants that. Had a note on the windshield about the right hand door as having some kind of opening problem. Thought I would mention it in case anyone wants more info. I should be in that area again within a week or two. I don't know much about the Fairlady, this is the one that looks like a 240Z.

I had every intention of restoring these but we're selling our river house and moving to the ocean, and I'm losing 90% of my parking areas. This is a true Japanese Fairlady Z, vin# S30-01036. VERY early car! The history I have is it was purchased originally by a GI in Japan, then a few years later he had Nissan or the dealer convert over to Left Hand Drive before shipping back to the states. The original 2 liter engine, tranny, hood and headlight covers are out of the car and in storage (meaning I don't have possession of them yet) but I should be getting them over the next few months. No guarantees though. Long story, but the older man I got the car from was having…

I own several early Z cars, but my most prized is my early S30 Japanese model Fairlady Z (2 liter) pre-240Z. It's fitted with an original real g-nose. I was told it was raced in Japan before being converted to left hand drive and shipped to the US (all the old places on the firewall are covered over from conversion). It has a rollbar, and factory race bucket seats...super light! . One "rear deck" behind the seat storage bin, one plastic behind the seat storage box. Original 2 liter engine. It has the early rear deck with vents. It was originally Grand Prix Red, which I've read the ZG's only came in 3 colors, that being one of them. The tag under the hood says S30-01036, …
