Body Rotisserie I am new here. I hope this is appropriate for this site. Is there anyone out there who has plans/blueprints for the fabrication of a body/frame rotisserie? I intend to fabricate one for use in my garage at home. I would like to build something universal; obviously the first project will be my Datsun. If anyone has ideas/plans, I would appreciate you contacting me. Many thanks!

Almost 2,5 year ago i bought a set of complete carpetting for my restauration 280zx 1979.. After a lot of waiting for my first painter to paint my car.. i had to pick my car up and do it all myself.. now i test fitted the carpet but they are the wrong ones!!!.. i can imagine that i'm a bit late with the reaction to say that they delivered the wrong ones. But the only reaction they gave me is that i can get a 15 % discount on the right set of front (l&r) parts! They should be ashamed! Is this customer service?? yes i know i was a bit late but they sended me the totally wrong front parts! Never again OC Carpets.com for me!

Well not new, reconditioned but I'm okay with that. Both are off of ebay, the first is a power burnisher, 7amp, 6 speeds, very tough unit. Not a tool you see a lot of in NA but has lots of different grits available from wire wheels, 60 grit flapper drums, straight sand paper drums, Scotchbite type drums from very coarse right up to the finest polishing drums. I have started mounting mine in the vice and using it to work on small pieces, best of all mine was less than $100. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=Professional+900+Watt+Burnisher+with+Abrasive+Sanding+Roller+&_sacat=0 The second tool is a KETT sheet metal nibble…

So I got sick and tired of using 2x4's tires and various things to keep my engines upright since the oil pans are off kilter.. Don't ask me why I even keep them but you never know when you might need something! So I put some painters plastic down on a harbor freight dollie and then wrapped the underside of the engine also. Got the engine so it was as vertical as possible then lowered it till it touched the lowest part of the dollie and then filled it in with spray foam.It worked great and saved space! It's nice and stable and I can wheel it around.I didn't need to use a strap but wanted extra security. Also when I do make use of the engines I can lift the engine out …

Well someone in 2017 did a pretty well designed study on 10 of these new fangled high ZDDP oils intended for old classic cars such as ours. I know we have discussed this in the past, don't remember if we referenced this study before. My apologies if so. Results were surprising to the author. Hopefully it will shed light on the current "hype" on this topic and perhaps result in fewer scarred cams and rockers around these parts. https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=!AHKKfKJ3E11RU1E&cid=FD59A041A3808BD5&id=FD59A041A3808BD5!1416&parId=FD59A041A3808BD5!207&o=OneUp Note: This contribution originally posted by a well known Z owner, Chickenman, …

New metal on the Z barn/car storage area that my buddy Ross has. He got leftover metal panels from the local roofing mfgr. for patching. Note the Datsun/BRE tribute. The barn is 250' long. Upper level is filled with treasures.
