My brother is currently restoring a 1978 late model 280Z, which mean that almost all his part are NON-interchangeable with the left over parts from my dad's 240Z racecar and my 260Z restoration. My brother is in need of a driver side door for his late model '78 280Z so if anyone could help him/us that would be great. Please e-mail me replies. Thanx.

I have 2 '72 240Z cars that I have had for many years. Haven't driven them in some time. One is low milage, 117,000 or so, sets in garage. Has a bad piston. Smokes. Knew it had a bad head gasket and did the head but that wasn't enough. Other car is badly beat but has Webers and the engine should be saved as it did scream. I used to buy wrecked 240's and take them completely apart and put the parts in the attic and garage. I have several motors and a pile of parts. Too many cars, too much junk. Haven't had time to work on them and now that everything has to have insurance to get inspected or plates I can't keep it up. I am in Houston. If any interest contact me at d…

Hello everyone, I'm getting ready to put my 71 240 up for sale. I'm here for two reasons, one is to give people who really love these cars the knowledge that it exists. Second, I don't have a clue what it's worth. I'm hoping you'll let me know what you look for when purchasing a project car and point me in the right direction for pricing. Here's some info on the car. 1971 240z Original 6 cylinder. Was a very strong engine when it was driven. Dual Webers. Was rebuilt once, but it was like 15 years ago so I'm just noting that someone was in the engine. 4 speed transmission Orange with black stripes down low at the rocker panels, Black interior. Interior is in very good cond…

I was hoping to have time to cruise the junkyards, but work is getting in the way again. So, I'm looking for 2 280Z stub axles and companion flanges (these are the 27 spline variety). I will also consider a set from a 240Z, but I prefer the 280Z axles. Wheel studs can be trashed, I'm going to replace them anyway. Thanks. ------------------ ---------- John Coffey johncof@veriomail.com

I need a driver's door interior panel for a 1972 240Z. Does ANYONE out there have a panel in good condition with no cracks or tears. Everything here in Colorado is baked from our sun. fcollins_jr@hotmail.com
