Found yet another Z in the Dallas Can! Acadamy auction lot today. This one will be salvaged. The engine is partially disassembled - but there's a set of round top 4-bolt carbs + manifold in the hatch. Dash is all torn up but lots of parts are there. Rust doesn't look too bad. The battery tray looked complete but I didn't start poking around. Underside shows signs of rust as usual but I didn' see holes. Last registered/inspected in '99. Brown with iron cross wheels, 4-speed, black interior, nifty light brown "240Z" stripes on the sides. I've got more pics if anyone is interested post here adn I'll post a few more. Daily driver/Project Car/Restoration candidate. Currently has a different transmission(4spd) and engine(2.6L) than original, but I have the original transmission and engine, and therefore it is a numbers matching car. 2" x 2" rust on inside of rear hatch, 1" x 1" on the roof, and a little near the battery, nowhere else that I am aware of. Cleaning out my garage. I have 8 ZX alloy rims, 4 6 spoke, 4 Iron Cross. They all have good caps, the Iron Cross rims are polished! The 6 spokes are in good condition with minor blemishes.
