Hey all I no longer have need for my L24 etc with the onset of an RBswap For sale is.. L24: mild cam port and polish mildly lightened and balanced flywheel it was like this when i bought the car, its run well and is great fun to drive, exhaust can go with it if you want, its 2 1/4 inch from memory and is ... not legal (volume) Unknown K's , but the mods were done just before i bought it so, at a scarey assumption, it had a reasonable rebuild at that point. The gearbox is from a 260z, it had been completely rebuilt and only done 5000k or so, changes smoother than i've seen in a Z, and clutch has done even less mileage. I restored my 71 240Z for the third time last winter for my son. Now he "needs" AC. I think he has lost his mind! In the family since 74, was yellow, then red, now electric blue. During redo had to settle for Maaco paint job (just fair). Just some of the mods added over the years are 2.8 engine(prem gas) with triple solex carbs, racer brown cam, comp valves and springs, comp pistons, light steel flywheel, headers. 5-speed Datsun Comp tranny with steel syncros and comp clutch. 4.11 rear end (broke limited slip...sorry). 1973 Datsun 240z for sale. This car does not have bad rust!.Had a guy take a look and he said my car is in great shape the only area of concern is the panel under the door on the passenger side. ok, i have a 1978 dastun 280z 5sp FI. its up for sale. actually its been up for sale for a long time, and i need to get rid of it by this weekend. My wife has owned a 240Z for the past 18 years. The car has been parked, under a roof, since January 1997, but was driven daily (by me) until we bought a truck and took the car off insurance. It has significant rust problems and needs work. We have receipts since about 1985. I hoped to restore the car, but it just isn't going to happen. It needs a good home.
