I bought this car to restore it but I don't have anymore time or funds to finish restoring it. There is barely any rust on the car. I bought and put in some new freeze plugs, a used distributor, a new battery, one brand new tire, and a new windshield gasket. It has some old school aftermarket 4 spokes wheels. I also did a valve adjustment on the car. It has a new ignition with keys and much more. The car does start and runs well. Im asking for $1050. 1975 280Z, 107K miles, original engine/trans (auto) both in EXCELLENT shape, interior in pretty good shape, outside in good shape (only one small dent on right rear corner), runs and drives perfect, cold A/C, good heater, new tags and inspection, new fuel lines, new side-view mirrors (the ones in the photo were the old ones), needs nothing to be driven daily. Even if you just need solid, reliable daily transportation, you could do a whole lot worse. Car located in Dallas, TX area. $1700obo. Seriously. Make me an offer. After much deliberation I have decided to sell my 1971 240Z. The car is pretty much original except for the 260 wheels and an immobiliser. It currently has a newly rebuild L26 engine in it but I do have the original engine (with matching numbers) that will be sold with the car. Early last year I installed new Tokico shocks (non-adjustable) and Hyperthane bushes all round. The car is Datsun 'Gold' and has two very small rust holes at the bottom of the drivers door. I was recently quoted AU$400 to have them metal-filled. There is also a small bump in the bonnet where the previous owner closed it but left a socket on the rocker cover.
