260Z gearbox, the strong steel synchro type with 2.9:1 first gear. It has just been overhauled & normally go for $1000, but will sell for $750. 99% complete, could be saved but the floor boards and frame rails are rusted, drivers floor almost gone. Has front airdam and rear spoiler, vertical defrost lines and hatch vents, body is ok, some emblem holes shaved when it was painted blue, aftermarket aluminum wheels, SU's, decent exhaust, hasn't ran for a few years but it could be driveable with some work. I have a 73 240z engine and tranny i need to sell. I will seperate the 2. The odo on the car said 93,000 miles. So it may be right or 193,000. The engine does run great, starts up fine and idles smooth. Burns no oil. Asking $250 for engine, and $100 for tranny. Or $300 together. the intake and exsaust manifolds are not included. and the manifold studs, there are 2 that are broke off. Buyer pays shipping. I have for sale the dealer installed optional air conditioning system for the 240Z. I believe this system was the same for all years. Includes compressor (man is this heavy), mounting bracket, condensor, underdash heat exchanger (black), control unit (black), required crank pully etc...... The system is used but in good condition. The cockpit components are in excellent condition - no cracks or signs of wear. When removed from car it still had pressure! But - I never did test the system. If anyone is interested in an early 74 260 project please get in touch with me. Right now the car has been completely sandblasted and all rot has been addressed and cut out. I have all the replacement panels, IE passenger rocker, floors, Passenger dogleg. The car is about 90% complete. Have the early SU's....the interior is complete as well as everything else. The R180 was swapped for the R200. Frame rails are solid and the battery well needs minimal repair. I just bought a 74 260z that had the side skirts and rear bumper on it. I like the stock look of the Z cars, so these are for sale. They are in great condition with no cracks and they come with all mounting hardware. Project unfinished! in D/FW Texas for Sale 1971 240Z with full IMSA body kit. R200 Rear End with rebuilt half shafts and drive shaft 5 Speed Trans from Maxima with Centerforce II clutch assy. Engine complete but, head removed and rebuilt. Has A/C that worked when project started. Wheels had some light corrosion, so I had them media blasted, and prepped to paint. Plans have changed, and these will not fit large front brakes on my project. Not perfect, but the right price. The close up pic shows the only curb rash. These are alu. 14 x 6 and are availible for only $100.00 for the set. I'm in Gresham, Or. and would rather not ship.
