I am up in the air on this one. 73 240 .. I am just wondering about value of this here is BC Canada as there are not many to be found .. and most are junk. I am looking at a 73 240 that was in really nice shape about 5 years ago but has been let go abit. Doesnt seem to be much rust but there is a bit. I am having it up on a lift soon. It is almost winter here so I wont get to drive it much (unless in winter). I would like to think this is a good investment at about $2500 to $3000 but am not too sure. I sold my restored 72 240 in 1986 for $5000 in Vancouver. Any help ? Thanks ..Bruce

hi, i have a 73 240z and a 76 280z i would like to trade for a 69-73 510 datsun 2-door. the body is in ok shape on the 240, has a bad engine. the 280 has a fuel injected motor, its a 2+2 body that has some rust behing the rear finders. i bought the 2 cars to install the fuel injected motor in the 240, but i really would rather have a 510 datsun. if you have a 2-door needing work and would be interested working out some kind if trade, let me know. i can e-mail you some pics of the car per request thanks, ronpotts@650dialup.com p.s. i live in the tacoma area

Found this on another site: October 5, 2003 240Z SN#000033 I have an early 240Z, serial number 0000.....33. It was abandoned at a repair shop here in New Jersey and I put it in storage years ago. I've lost the storage space and I'm not ready to restore the car as I had hoped. I don't want to junk it. If anyone is interested, please contact me ASAP. this has been sold more pics here: http://www.datsunracing.com/forsale/rollbar/ i bought an autopower unit, so i have no need for this. it's used, off an auto-x parts car, no mounting hardware (no bolts, no plates to mount it in the wheel wells, but $10-15 in parts at a hardware store should be enough to get you going). the bar ties into the strut towers, bolts to the 2 out of the 3 bolts holding the strut isolator in on each side. The other tie in points are wheel wells like the autopower rollbar. I'll get pics later, local pickup (bay area, california) only please, it'll cost about 50 bucks to ship freight, and it's not worth it for the bar and trouble. There's …

1978 280z 4speed – This started as a project car, and still remains one. I bought it in early June of 2003, but after further research, a restoration wasn’t plausible, the funds weren’t there. Although it is a 1978 car, the motor is an 83 with about 110,000 miles. The odometer reads otherwise, but those are roller-over miles from the previous motor. The carpets were bad so they were removed completely, as with the rest of the interior. The seats are in top condition, the drivers side has a 2 inch slice in the vinyl- that’s all I could find wrong. The passenger seat is great. Center console is in great shape as well. Headliner is in fine shape too. Dash has a cap …
