Ok the picture that I have attached is what my plugs looked like when I pulled them. They were more wet then dry. They were new like 6 months ago. My car is getting way to much fuel I believe. Due to this the car will not start, seems to be flooded. What could be causing so much fuel to be dumped into the motor??? 76 280z

I'm starting into the process of replacing the fuel injector connectors on my 280Z I have gotten the entire fuel injection hareness of an 88 BMW ( dunno which model tho, just the year) and it had about 40 of the Bosch injector-style connectors on it. Some had the usual smooth- style of rubber on it, and some ( the injector connetors) had a corrugated- style rubber on it. Take a look at he pictures below. I'd like some opinions on who likes which better. They both serve the same finction; the one is just a little fancier. Also, Since I'll be splicing into the wires on the Z's injector harness, I would like to know what to use over the wires to protect them, like …

Hi guys. I finished my rebuild on the car and put the l28e I had into it replacing the l20aE. The porblem im having is,it misses once to operating temp and wont pull past 4500rpm.When its cold,it doesnt miss at all, just when warm. Im thinking it could be the standard dizzy I had so swap over from the L20e,I also had to keep the ECU and AFM from the L20e unit. Im going to check the pressure reg and filter later today, and look at converting to the ZX dizzy I have (e12-90?). Do you guys have any idea what the problem could be? Anyways, heres a pic of her as it sits.

I currently have a rebuilt air flow meter on my '75 280Z which doesn't seem to be working too well. The engine is running way too rich. I am able to get an original air flow meter from a '78 Z in excellent shape. Will this one hook up to the wiring harness ok? Any other info and/or suggestions are greatly appreciated. THANKS

I just bought some new injectors off ebay for my NA 76 280z. 5 of the injectors have nothing in the shaft, but one has a white thing inside. I have attached pictures. Which style is correct? Should I take the white thing out?

I am new to Z cars. I just bought an 82 and was noticing the fan for the cooler doesnt work. I want to know if that is something I can remove to help clean up the engine bay or should I get that fixed? Seems to me a tad bit of over kill as I have never seen anything like that before.

When the engine is turned off, the fuel pressure drops to zero within 2 hours (according to the pressure gauge.) It used to stay up for days. If the car sits for a while with out starting up, I have to prime the fuel system to get pressure. Which component would cause it to lose pressure and how do I fix this? ('77 fuel injected z) Ron
