Hi i was just wondering if anyone knew the steps i need to go through to take out my injectors. I will be sending them to get cleaned to these people http://www.witchhunter.com/ . Just wanted to know if anyone could tell me the procedure so nothing explodes (metaphorically speaking) when i try to take my fuel rail off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

About 6 months ago I was reading this thing with my dad about people adding 2onces of 100% acetone to like everyother tank of gas. It said it helps the gasses vaporize and burn better or something along those lines! I thought there is no way in hell I'm putting that in my car, but it turns out I talked to my dad today on the phone and the guys he works with have been trying it on there old beaters. One guy has a geo metro, and said in just the first tank of gas his mileage went from 28mpg to 37mpg. and the rest of the guys said they had similar results. I'm not saying you should all do this, i'm not going to but just thought it was interesting and wanted to pass it…

Rebuilt a 78 L28 and only have 3 cylinders working, 1, 2 and 3. 4 , 5 and 6 are firing but the plugs are dry. It runs suprisingly smooth at idle, I'm guessing it's cause 1,2 and 3 are every other one in the firing order. I was looking thru the WD and it seems thers is some kind of connection in these sets of cylinders in the ECU, which would be my first guess as to the problem. But from the WD I can't tell whether the connection is actually in the ECU. Any advise is welcome Thanks ECU.pdf

Hi guys!, i´m thinking of replacing the injectors of my ZX since three of them are leaking and I suppose the rest of them are gonna leak soon. My Nissan dealer has no injectors in stock so I´m thinking in rebuild‘em or purchase’em from ebay, which is cheaper than rebuild, the cost of the 6 injectors may reach about 120 US$ with handling and shipping, and I think is time to do it due to the Colombian Peso is becoming stronger ( but not my wallet). I wonder if you guys have had some experiences with the rebuilt injectors from ebay , should I take the risk and buy them? thanks guys

hi guys, I'm sick of my AFM, it is a toyota's upgreaded AFM with a Z's circuit board, and I think it is making a really horrible air/fuel mixture, I'm in need of a new AFM, used ones never were good from my experience.. does anyone know from where I can get the best price for a whole AFM? I need one with the core.. coz I don't have an original core to exchange besides shipping the core will cost me about the same price of the core itself! black dragon have the best privce from what I searched, I don't know if there are better deals elsewhere.. I would be thankfull to have an advice guys.. thanks!

I had my cooling system in my 280Z flushed out well today. I had it in for the Spring oil change, and the guy noticed the coolant through the radiator cap was a little on the brown side. It's been two years, so I told him to flush it. The tech guy did it once, and there was only a little change. So he flushed a second time. Then he added a cleaner chemical, and I drive around for about 10 minutes (I needed gas any way.) After about the 4th flush, the coolant came out nice & green. so I paid him the $65 for the flush and went away somewhat satisfied. I drove some suburban streets, stopping at some traffic lights, and seeing how the engine was going now, and I noti…

Hi Guys, I am slowly putting together parts to create L3.1 and I was thinking of grafting on the throttle body injection from an RB26 engine onto a triple carb manifold - has anyone done this or know of anyone who has. I have a manifold and just picked up the GTR throttle bodies for $70US so surely its worth a try! Cheers Glenn Auckland New Zealand

Is there any sort of aftermarket fuel injection chip for a 78? I know there is one for the later models. Also, is there much of a choice for new injectors?........as it pertains to more power. Maybe a couple silly questions, but any advice would be great!

I have a 1977 280 Z that is run only about 100 miles a year. I let the battery go dead and did not start the engine for about 2-3 months. In the past it usually started quickly. After replacing the battery, and attempting to start, the car will not start and does seem to be getting enought fuel or any fuel. Since this has not happended for a while, I was not sure where to start. I did remove the fuel filter outlet hose and when cranking gasoline did surg about a foot out of the filter, but NOT as strong as I though it should. I plan on replacing the fuel filter as a precaution. Duiring the cranking process, the engine does not even indicate it will start, just the sound …
