My 76 280Z's carpet was getting soaked after a long rain.I got the quarter panel all new rubber from motorsport and water is still getting in somewhere. The only thing bad about it is you can spray it with a water hose all day and it won't leak! Only when it rains. Any ideas? Also did the new rubber on the doors, body and windows. :sick:

I was going to start installing the new vinyl today, and did a quick dry fit of all the pieces. Where should I start? Should the trans tunnel diamond go on first or the piece behind it. Also, and yes I'm thinking easy......but in the rear on the strut area and wheel wells can the new vinyl go over the old?? I was going to pull it off unless it doesnt matter, I was thinking it might provide more noise buffer but didn't know if it would adhere very well....what do you think. In looking at this project I was thinking it wouldn't be that difficult, but now I'm worried I may screw up the new vinyl...any tips..... Thanks guys, Randy

I have a 1977 280Z with brown carpet. The exact color name is unknown to me. The rear is a little faded, has anyone ever had luck recoloring the brown carpet before to reflect the original color? If so what did you use (product) and the exact color you used, also any tips will be appreciated on the best process with 30 year old carpet. Thanks, Jim

I have redone (repainted and waxed) all the tire tools etc., The one thing I don't know is exactly how are items placed in the trunk. For instance I know the tire bar and the two piece red jack handles go in the bag along, but where are the wheel chocks supposed to be kept in the trunk, because all the stuff will not fit in the bag? If anyone has a picture of where everything is to be placed for a 1977 280Z I would be most appreciative> Thanks!

Hey guys, My new diamond vinyl just came in from Les today and I was wondering what would be the best way to install it. Aerasol spray adhesive? what brand? Where do I start? Any tips or tricks....etc. Any help would be appreaciated. Here is what it looks like right know...... Thanks, Randy

Does anyone have a line on a pair of the chrome door handle finishing trim pieces that attach to the door panel at the top of the interior door handles? Do they have a specific name? It seems that some of these would be floating around somewhere but I haven't seen any. Thanks! Michael
