My early 1970 series 1 & a friends 72 are looking for AM/FM radios that as original looking, but allow for remote CD / MP3 players. Ideally we would like to do this without cutting the radio facelplate. My car has the orig. AM Hitachi in it now - still works... but.... not so good tunes... Also what have you used to gouse speakers in the back? THX! Lee Ft Wayne IN VIN 02029

has anyone used this type of product for the interior of the Z? Go to this link half way down on the page. http://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/109/html/3240.html . For that price I can do the whole inside of the car. Also I read that their damping sheet are the same spes as Dynamat.

How long does it take you guys to remove a 240Z dash? Any tips to make it easier, I did it on my 260z ground up resto but that was years ago.Unfortunately the 240's heater started to leak and I thought I'd have a CRACK at repairing the dash when the heater comes out.

Here is another example of variation within the series 1 cars. I have two different console finishers, one has the word "on" embossed into the marker switch location, and one does not. Also one has the throttle opening as only 1/2 the slot and taped over while the other has the entire slot open.

Is there a way to adjust rattling on the driver's glass window when half way down? Also, since my driver's door has been replaced following my accident in 09/05, the outer skin has started to split from the top of the door. What can be done without dismantling the door and doing all the job again? The insurance company is not the problem because the car is insured and appraised for more than 20K. Now I understand why the outside rubber window sweeper is not close to the window. I told the restoration specialist about the problem but all these little adjustments to be done and parts to come take way too much time since they have been ordered two months ago. Comments are we…

I know this is a tough item to find, but any ideas where I can get one? Mine is missing the lid and is cracked, which doesn't look good with my new console! Any thoughts? Thanks! Stephen

Does anybody have a good picture of the area around the fuse box of a 280Z? I got a new fuse box cover, but there are loads of loose wires & relays in the area, and I don't know if I should let them hang or should I tie them up neatly to hide? thx

I'm trying to clean up the way my A/C lines are ran inside the passenger cabin. I'm talking about the lines that go from the firewall to the evaporator under the passenger side of the dash. On my car they ran under the evaporator. This looks kind of messy and takes away from the floor area. Is everyone's the same or are your lines in a different location?

I have been looking on the CD and can find the P/N for the early shift boot, but I can't seem to find the P/N for the 72-78. I am looking for the rubber boot that covers the tunnel, screws into the tunnel and lets the shifter extend through the middle of it. Anybody happen to know that P/N?? TIA, Marty
