   interior panel rivets question

   First of all, what is the exact size of the holes in the body for placing plastic rivets to hold on the interior panels? Second, what is a good replacement you use instead of the original plastic pop rivets which are way to expensive. There is an old post about this but maybe there is new info to share. thanks.

   First off, I'd like to say I'm new to these forums, but I'm an avid member at http://forums.amd.com/index.php?act=idx <- Forums for AMD Computers and whatnot but anyway, I could have a choice of two 240z's One is my father's friend's son's so hes basically a friend of mine too but he lives in Austin Texas Whereas I live in Houston (about a 2-3 hour drive) so I can't go see the car right away. But what I do know is that its the 4 speed manual red 240z that apparently needs ALOT of work. I'm only 16 so I'm still in school and I dont know if I should spend alot of my time fixing a car (If it can drive me back and forth to and from school I'd be happy and fix it later). I …

    Blower Switch Problem 1 2

    Last summer my blower switch started working funny. Some of the settings stopped working, and would only work if you moved the switch back & forth some. Then it didn't turn on the fan at all. Are there contacts in the switch that can be checked? I could probably trace the power through, but I'm wondering if I should look into getting a new fan switch. thx

    My glove box in my 71 240z is in pretty bad shape (ok so I ripped it when I took my dash out). Wondering if a newer z car glove box would fit? If so what year/model would you recommend? I was hopping to find one that was plastic, that would hold up a bit better then the cardboard one it came with. Thanks Jason

    Rear Panel Fit Over Fuel Vapor Tank

    My early model Z has a metal vapor tank replacement for the original plastic one (from PO). I am upgrading the interior and am finding the rear right plastic panel will not fit over the metal vapor tank because the tank sticks out too far. Are there smaller metal tanks?     I want to put a full rollcage in my 280Z. where should i get one? i found a guy that will build me one and ship it to me then i weld it which isnt a problem, for 360. that is a 6 point with 3 door bars on each side, dash bar, and harness bar. im taking my dash out when i do it and im making an aluminum one. what do i do about window roller uppers? they will hit wont they?
