This is the first time using this forum, and I need help!! I'm restoring a 260z 2+2 interior carpet and can't find a company that might be able to help! I called motorsport Z car and can't seem to get a good answer to a good quality carpet. My understanding is that all years from 74 - 78 are the same, why can't I use a later years carpet to fill my needs. Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im restoring my dads 240z and there is a crack about 1 inch on the dashboard and a couple smaller ones. they are all in the back towards the windshield. Is there anything that can be done to fix this or at least keep it from getting worse. I wouldnt really like to get the cap because then I cant remove the gauges.

Its almost time to do my interior on my white 72 Z. After sitting outside in the desert for 10 years there wasn't much left of the interior. Its interior was red originally, but I have all the interior plastic parts in black from my two parts cars. I still haven't bought the vinyl and headliner yet. I'm considering going with white. Has anybody ever painted the black interior panels white? In Phoenix it gets sooooo hot with a black interior. I need carpet too - I know datsun had any color carpet you want as long as its black. Does any company make a repro in any other color? thanx in advance guys...

This is probably the most frightening thing I've ever seen. I can't even make myself call it a... nob! I hesitate to think what might have inspired this design. I've seen pistol grip shift nobs before, but that's just ridiculous!

How do you get those plastic panels out of the back of a 280Z? I read you're supposed to remove the brackets for the hatch stays, but I can't figure out how to get those off, either. thx

I have a 1970 240z with the blue/turquoise interior. 3008474 Where can I get the headliner and door panels to match the color of the original? The diamond pattern vinyl is mostly good. Can I get some of that to match the original? Did the windshield visors come in the blue also or were they black? Did the carpet come in the blue or was it black? Where can I get a new dash, not a cap? I bought the car mostly restored but these interior features were partially redone in an amateurish sort of way. The car was originally blue paint and is now but not the right Z blue. How can I find out the correct paint spec for the exterior?

Hey Guys! You have all helped me out before, so I know this wont be a problem for you...I am doing some preventative por-15 work on my floor pans as I restore my 77 280. After I pulled the carpet and the insulation pads, there are some other kind of "pad" thingy-ma-jig stuck to the pan like white on rice. I need to get this off, but how? Am I going to have to use a chisel or screwdriver and peel this stuff off an inch at a time? What is the purpose of these things?

from one end to the other. what is the trunk size legth, width, and height. I am guessing that then trunk is smaller at one end then the other so include that in the measurments. But if someone can run out to their car and check that would be awsome

im wondering if anyone knows a place to buy, or a way to fab up a cover where the heater and radio is. im going to be racing this Z so that stuff isnt needed. id like to replace it with instrument gauges if possible?

Took my heater console out to fix the clock(looking for one that works) and found there are 3 empty holes in the back of the console for light bulbs. I don't see any in the area. I do see several unused male/female plugs however. Can anyone shed light on what I need or what I am missing? Were the originals cut out from the wiring harness, or are there lights that plug into the unused plugs? Thanks. Portland, OR
