I acquired a small window sticker that is 2" X 4 1/4", reading "Air Conditioned for DATSUN by Frigiking. It is blue and white. Is this something that was put on the cars that had the dealer-installed A/C installed? Anybody have any info about this? T.i.A.

I was just curious about the differences in the horn pads for the 70-78 models, because I can't freakin' remember - ! I'm posting this here so that others can learn as well - part of the Z history. Here's 2 pix I have of horn pads. Can someone tell me which years they're for? And, anyone who has different pix of horn pads for these particular models is more than welcome to post them here, so that others can be educated on it as well. Thanks!

On the center console for a 280Z, does your lid fit flush all around? On mine, the lid sticks out a little on the side over the brake handle. thx

Hi I livein Canada. I stumbled accross a 72 or 73 240z POS the other day. It is completely bondo, and all the windows are smashed. Floor boards rusted beyond recognition. It has a few decent interior panels (black) and apparently the engine is good. The one saving feature of this car is an uncracked dash. The guy wants $350 Canadian for it or about $300 US. Is it worth it? I understand its a big hassle to get the dash out or in. But I hate to see it go to the crusher with a good dash. The dash in my own car was uncracked when I bought it two years ago but has cracked in that time.

Hi Everyone, I'm missing the Z logo plaque on my 73 240z's center console. I think its used for mounting the choke handle bracket onto. I have tried everywhere to locate one but have not been able to. Any one else know of a source for this piece? Thanks, Saro Fagerian

 Hey Guys! I am in a bind here. I just purchased a 77 280z and am beginnig work on it. However, the passenger door wont open. It appears that the locking mechanism has disengaged from both handles, inside and out. I was going to take the door panel off from inside and disengage the latch manually to open the door, but i cant seem to get it off. Ive taken the arm rest and the chrome back plate off of the interior handle, but it still wont come off. Am I going to have to rip it off and screw up an other wise perfect door panel? Am I missing a screw or something? Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Haven't seen too much lately about the seat mechanism covers that GunnerRob was planning. Any news?

I have a 73 240Z and the glovebox door is broken at the hinges. It appears that the "hinges" are just plastic that is able to bend to enough for the glovebox door to be opened and closed. My 72 parts car looks the same, and the hinges on it are broken as well. Is there some way to fix these hinges, or where can I get a replacement for them?

Is there a common material that you can find at a DIY or art store, etc., that can be used to make panels like on the hatch bottom, etc? It should be thin, yet stiff enough to not flex much if you touch it and not crush when you attach with screws. thx

I upgraded my '73 240Z's non-retractable shoulder belts to a set of retractable shoulder belts from a 260Z. I just wanted to let anyone know that is thinking of getting retractable shoulder belts, that this is a good solution. I got the initial information about this conversion from this link: http://www.automedic.org/smzcc/tech_tips.htm#seatbelts Here's a couple pics of how it looks in my car:
