I was told yesterday that my seats were reversed! That the recliner lever should be on the inside, next to the consol. Could this be true? Have I been driving from the passenger seat all this time? Funny, every Z I've seen so far, it's on the outside, by the door. Maybe this fellow is pulling my leg? I wont say who "He" is, but you would all agree that he should know what he is talking about.

:classic: The skinny Wheel can be fixed. http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=3887&papass=&sort=1&thecat=527 this is a photo of a fairlady z they were fitted with these I believe. Alan HS30-H would know more his Z has it also. but then again Kats has a very sexy stock steering wheel. http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=2888&papass=&sort=1&thecat=500 I like the momo wheels the Champion then Race is next on my list. I really like the stock wheel but there's something appealing about it. You don't see many classic cars without the original wheel and I figure why should the Z be any different. 240z your car l…

Today I was talking to one of my neighbors and they said they bought their 260 new and that it had air conditioning and that was really rare. Mine has it too. Is it really rare for an early US spec 260 to have air conditioning? Was it a factory or dealer installation? Thanks. -Ben

When I first bought my z the door panels were in great shape except for the chrome on the wood trim. I didn't want to buy new door panels just for that. More so, trying to track down a pair of prestine wood strips was impossible. So what I did was I used plastic model chrome foil. It does not look perfect, but it looks pretty darn close. It is not that hard to do, but it will take patience and care. Things you will need: -sharp razor knife: prefferably the one that has interchangable blades -a bunch of que-tips -"Bare-Metal" chrome foil that can be found at most hobby shops. Make sure you get just chrome, and not ultra-chrome because the ultra-chrome is too thin…

My drivers door wont lock with the key from the outside anymore, the key seems to hit the limit before it can successfully lock the door, there is no problem unlocking it afterwards though. Anyone had this problem before? Or know a way I can fix it?

Seems hopeless to find a perfect original drivers seat for my 73 240z. My passenger is perfect so i don't want to buy a pair. Don't want to have it re-upholstered either (will never look the same). Can I put a passenger seat (when I find one) on a drivers side frame?? thanks

Is there anything special about the dash mats sold in MSA and VB catalogs or is the local DASHMAT/auto parts dealer just as good quality(maybe the same manufacturer anyway?)
