Hello, What kind of glue should I use to try to repair some small Hairline cracks in the First Geneneration Z center consoles? And some advice from someone who has tried to repair their consoles? Thanks in advance.

OK. I'd like to know if the third lever (the last one close to the console) is supposed to send some warm air in the cabin when push to the far right??? problem is (in fact, don't know if it's a problem) when the lever is in that far position, I still have fresh (cold in the september morning in Montreal ) air comingout of the 2 rounded vents on either side of the dashboard.. Maybe there is a lever/cable broken behind the dash??? Help me please!

The dash lights on my car ('71) are really dim. The bulbs are new. The brightness adjuster goes from "off" to "barely on." Could this be the fault of a bad adjustment switch? Are they hard to replace?

These are the Corbeau VX 2000. The base is 20 inches wide and 23 inches deep. It is 22.5 inches wide at the shoulder. 35.5 inches tall. It's gonna be a few days before I can measure my car, so I was wondering if someone already had the cockpit dimensions comitted to memory. http://www.corbeau.com/brochure/VX2000.shtml

After spending a couple of hours everyday this week I finally got the dash loose in my 71 parts car ( it was a major PITA). It is crack free and I want to put in my 73 car that has alot of cracks in the dash. Does anyone know if the wiring is the same or even close? I was thinking of swaping some of the gauges if I have to to get it to work. Has anyone tried this and was it successful? I'm starting to understand why you see so many advertisments for dashcaps. Thanks, Mark

Are there any aftermarket shifters that will fit the 280Z? BTW, is there a designation for the 3-speed auto trans? Like Ford's C-3, C-5, or chevy turbo 350?

Here is my issue, My driver car seat is in terrible shape, the left side is lower that the right and it is cambered to the left. I am afraid my spine will become mis-aligned! and i hate the feel of my left arse-cheek being lower than my right while driving:). I have a chance to get a used car seat from a 76 z car at the junk yard. the passanger seat in this car looks almost new!!! will it fit into the drivers position? or must i use a driver seat? the one in the junked car is in fair condition. Thankyou zcarsrock!

Anybody know if 300ZX seats will fit in a 240Z? I'm sure I'll have to do some seat-rail modifications, but I wondering about the dimensions. Will They Fit?

Her's something I saw at kitcarz.com. At $295, it's cheaper than a dash rebuild. I wonder if anybody here has had any experience with it or has at least seen one up close. The small picture here does it little justice. http://www.kitcarz.com/dashboards.htm Any thoughts?
